Steelhead season has started with a bang! Chris guides these Michigan rivers for us spring and fall. Steelhead are trout that make their way out into the ocean (or in this case the Great Lakes) but come back up the rivers each year to spawn. Unlike Salmon, who die after spawning, Steelhead go back to the ocean after spawning. Their will to live and return to the sea makes them highly alert and much harder to catch.
