He sees me when he approached the door, and couldn't wait to go back where he crawled out from. I will not post his name since technically he did not commit a crime, but I wouldn't either after seeing me emerge with the purpose of protecting my family.

Oh boy, If anyone is trying to sell you a camera system with TVL anywhere in the lingo, it is analog. I have not sold analog in two years now. It is all about HD now. TVL should be the cassettes. No more. And the cost is about the same. Mainly these Cameras online. I see so many ads now. People just trying to do what they can to rid themselves of stock on analog. TVI and other HD formats came out the block. I have used them for two years now, it happened so fast that big suppliers are finally onboard with it and putting it out this year. Don't be fooled. HD comes in some confusing formats but feel free to reach out to us if you are not sure.Some cameras are proprietary. Meaning you can only get replacements though the same company you got the system from. I believe in free market, so if i find a better camera out there I can use it on any system.

OK, FLIR when it comes to thermal tech has no competition. But buying Digimerge, and having Lorex as your sister company...Now your loosing me. Maybe a year to 5 years could bring the thermal tech to security cameras, but the cost will not be in our price range. The FLIR One attachment for a smart phone is HOT!!! But priced over $350.So I can only imagine the cost for security systems with this tech. They are very behind on the HD and IP systems right now, but still more interested in selling them than they are advancing or training with them. Not impressed right now. Maybe we will keep them on the watch list. They offer better than average warranties though, but say that there is a long wait for tech support and not good knowledge on the tech team. So that tells me something.

Do you have a preventative maint. program for your camera system? If not, let us set one for you. Cameras and DVR's need to be checked every now and then. It is cheaper to maintain than to replace, but if you let it go too long, replacement will be your only option. Cams should be cleaned, housing seals checked, connections tightened, view focused if need be, glass on lenses cleaned, lines checked, DVR's cleaned out from dust, fans and power checked. System updates if compatible.

4 indoor/outdoor cams all metal housings night vision
cable/connectors
power supply 4 ch.
3 year warranty
all accessible on your smart phone and computer
about $670 installed $970

8 ch. same as above adding 8 cams and more cable/connectors and bigger power supply
$900 installed $1200

16 ch. and above call me. If you want to upgrade anysystem to HD-SDI add about $700 to the price.

remember you can buy an 8 ch. dvr and start with 4 or 5 cams. buy to grow. I always hear after purchase when people love their system that they want to add more cams but can't add to the system. then spend twice as much having to buy another system.

Who says you have to buy as many cameras as your DVR holds? Buy a DVR to grow with. If you NEED 4 cams, buy an 8 ch. DVR.
