On September 11, 2001, a regular field in Somerset County became a field of honor. Though 23 years have passed, the bravery of those aboard Flight 93 endures. We remember their extraordinary sacrifice and strength they showed in the face of unimaginable danger. Their legacy will never fade.

It interactively provides visitors access to Trailheads, Highlights, Mile Markers, Trail Towns, and essential facilities along the GAP.

To use the map, visit www.scrta.org and scroll down to the bottom of the home page.

Click on the icon in the upper left to open the legend. From there, open or close the categories. The map has all the features of a regular Google Map: you can find directions, click on businesses for hours, phone numbers, websites, and reviews—if available.

🌎 Celebrate Earth Day in Rockwood on April 20th from 10AM and into the evening!

♻️10AM-Noon: Electronic Recycling by JVS Environmental at the Mill Shoppes parking area!

🛶10AM: Group paddle (Garrett to Rockwood) meeting at the Rockwood Trailhead parking lot to run shuttle. This is pending water level. Hosted by CRWA. Contact 814-279-4514 with Qs.

🎶Noon-3pm: Music On Main offers live music by Port Vue, local brews by Trailhead Brewing and Vin De Matrix Winery LLC, delicious eats by Fat Squirrel Ice Cream & Eatery and Grumbling Gypsy, and more!

🍻4pm: Trailhead Brewing is hosting their 2nd Annual Keg Race event (benefitting Somerset County Recreation & Trails Association & Casselman River Watershed Association). So stick around to cheer on the competition or even participate (entry info below). Ghost Town Road Show will be playing at the brewery at 6PM and Fat Squirrel is onsite with more of their great food!
