Dark Forest Artist Management was founded May 2016 by songwriter Dylan Lane as a platform to advise and progress the careers of independent artists in Sonoma County. Dylan worked for Aberration just shy of a year advising and assisting in helping the band achieve their goals before stepping down February 2017. One year after starting this company - it now exists in flux as a platform for booking,

promoting, and show management. Dylan Lane's Bio:

After growing up taking private lessons, at age 18 in 2010 Dylan had been awarded two certificates for outstanding musicianship performances on tenor saxophone from jazz festivals, and was awarded the top high school jazz award (Louis Armstrong award) for his playing. Upon graduation he moved to Chicago to attend school at Columbia College Chicago where he studied for the next four years and received his bachelors degree May 2014 in music with a focus on music composition. During his last year at Columbia, he took several music business courses before graduating and was greatly influenced by his instructors Marcos Balter, Justin Sinkovich, David Purcell and most of all Kent Anderson - to pursue a path in the music industry. In the Fall of 2015 after nearly a year of playing shows on bass with his own band, he started show managing for Sonoma County Metal & Hardcore and has been working shows ever since while continuing to learn about live productions and show promoting. Now in 2017 after dozens upon dozens of concerts played and attended, and after endless hours of study, Dylan Lane has re-booted Dark Forest as a platform to put on local shows and bring independent bands and tours through Sonoma County.

Dylan worked for Aberration just shy of a year advising and assisting the band to help achieve their goals before stepping down February 2017. Two years after the founding of Dark Forest Management - it now exists as a promotion and show management company for booking local shows, and independent and smaller tours that need tour dates in a tertiary North Bay Area market. Dylan Lane's Bio: After growing up taking private lessons, at age 18 in 2010 Dylan had been awarded two certificates for outstanding musicianship performances on tenor saxophone from jazz festivals, and was awarded the top high school jazz award (Louis Armstrong award) for his playing. In the Fall of 2015 after nearly a year of playing shows on bass with his past band Vile Riot Villains - he started show managing for Sonoma County Metal & Hardcore (Also known as Gather Booking and Management). For the next two years Dylan assisted in managing the production, promotion and booking for local shows, independent and smaller tours, as well as national tours for bands of the heavy metal/rock genres.

Many Changes came in the following years with attempts at different musical endeavors - now in the year of 2018, Dark Forest Management has returned to bring heavy music to Sonoma County.
