TEN PLACES TO GET YOUR BRIDGEWATER TRIANGLE LEGEND TRIP ON

1. Hockomock Swamp. Enter on Elm Street in Bridgewater, West Spring Street in West Bridgewater or if you are REALLY daring...enter from the Nip. But don't go at night!

2. The Tom Thumb Museum. Located on Jackson Street in Middleboro. Just go. You won't regret it.

3. The Devil's Footprints in Norton. The rock is in a small grove of trees in the parking lot of Solomenese Elementary. This spot was once the site of an ancient Indian Burial Ground. If you go...please be respectful of school hours!

4. While you are in NORTON, why not take a ride over to King Philip’s Cave? A group of massive megalithic stones that make a cave that has been rumored to be one of King Philip’s favorite camping sites when he frequented the area.

5. If you have never visited The Solitude Stone (otherwise known as "Su***de Rock") now is the perfect time. Located on Forest Street in West Bridgewater at the edge of Hockomock Swamp, the town of West Bridewater just did a wonderful job making it into a tiny little park to honor the site.

6. Ever eaten breakfast in a milk bottle? What are you waiting for? The Milk Bottle in Raynham on Route 138 is dirt cheap, the food is decent...and who doesn't want to eat breakfast in a milk bottle?

7. Go ghost shopping. West Union Street in East Bridgewater is one of the most conglomerated areas of paranormal energy in the whole of the triangle. Look for the angel of "Angel Alley" and right next door is Ms. Bee Haven, an adorable gift shop owned by local artist Linda Triconi. The shop is also known for poltergeist activity. So is the shop next door, MRS.SWIFT AND MOORE

8. Take a hike...to Betty's Neck in Lakeville and try to find the mysterious boulder located on the shore of Lake Assawompsett that has both a hand print and a footprint in it. Henry Thoreau went there to see them. You should too.

9. Go squatching. One of the most famous Bigfoot sighting locations in the triangle is soooooo easily accessible. Styles and Hart Reservation is located right off of route 18 in Bridgewater, near the intersection of High Street. Follow the path until you get to the pond and then look across to your left. This is where a Bridgewater resident claims to have seen Bigfoot in 1978 lumbering down a hill, walking like "Frankenstein."

10. What the heck is this doing here? If you have never visited the National Forefather's Monument in Plymouth...uhm...just go. There are hundreds of mysteries that surround this bizarre smaller scale (but by no means SMALL) Statue of Liberty, but the biggest mystery it seems as that so few locals know it even exists, despite the fact you could walk to it from the Mayflower in under 15 minutes. How did we not go for field trips in school to the "largest solid granite monument in the US?" Not just bizarre...this place is just LOADED with energy.
