Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my favorite moderate resorts at Walt Disney World. I love the theming and being on the skyliner is such a plus. You can glide through the sky to visit Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.

The biggest negative is that it is a huge resort. For this reason, this is one of the resorts that I feel the splurge for a preferred room is 💯 worth it.

Disney released some information about a new Villains Show coming in 2025.

Text From Disney Destinations:

Deep in the shadows of Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, something delightfully wicked is about to take the stage. It’s an all-new live production starring everyone's favorite Disney Villains – debuting summer 2025!

The creative minds at Disney Live Entertainment will transform Sunset Showcase into the mysterious, reflective realm of the Magic Mirror. The show will feature appearances by dozens of the most infamous evildoers, with fiendish foes Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent each breaking through the glass to take the stage in live production numbers.

Before these villainous fiends take the spotlight at Sunset Showcase, guests should speed on over for another lap around the track at Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy before October 7.

Never ones to shy away from barging in unexpectedly, the Disney Villains’ appearance in this new show comes in addition to the future Villains-themed land announced for Magic Kingdom during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. Guests should keep an eye out as we reveal more about this production and other new experiences coming to our parks and cruise ships around the world.

We had a wonderful trip to Alaska. We can’t wait to go back. The Alaska cruise season is typically May to September and here are some things to think about.

1) Not all Alaska cruise itineraries are created equal. It’s important to know what you want to see and do and pick the right itinerary for your party.

2) Alaska cruises leave from San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, and Anchorage. You can choose a 1-way or closed loop cruises.

3) What ship/cruise line makes sense for your party? Are you looking for a relaxed adult vibe or a family-friendly ship? Do you want a large ship will all the amenities or something smaller?

4) If you want to see Alaska beyond the initial ports, you’ll want to budget for excursions. We rarely do excursions on Caribbean cruises, but we did one at all 3 Alaska ports and it was worth it!

5) Book with a knowledgeable travel agent. I’ve cruised Alaska and sailed on most cruise lines. I also offer onboard credit (spending $) for most sailings.

It's finally time!

We fly from Providence to Seattle tomorrow and this is our trip plan.

We are doing our Alaska cruise on Royal Caribbean's Ovation of the Seas. This is a great ship for families and it's roundtrip from Seattle.
