Our Summer House, LLC Vacation rental in South Haven, Michigan. Three blocks from beach. Are you looking for a house with close access to the beach, playgrounds, and restaurants?

This comfortable, 2-story Victorian has been renovated but still has yesteryear charm with lots of windows and original woodwork. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, 3 blocks to Kids Corner Park and 4 blocks to the beach and Lake Michigan sunsets. Majestic old spruce trees shade the house and yard, and the over-sized lot gives a sense of privacy with plenty of room for outdoor games and family

gatherings. The living room expands into the enclosed three-season porch through double French doors - a great place to sit and read a book, enjoy a cup of coffee or take an afternoon nap. The living room has a flat screen TV with DVD player. We include secure high-speed wireless internet service to let you stay connected with the outside world. There are also plenty of movies, games, and books to enjoy as well. The home has central air, dishwasher and laundry facilities. The kitchen and dining room have everything you need to prepare and enjoy a meal. The dining room seats eight comfortably and the eat-in kitchen has room for four. There is a gas grill in the back yard for outdoor cooking, along with a custom-made picnic table and Adirondack chairs. Not cooking on vacation? Downtown restaurants, bakery, sandwich shops and the ice cream parlor are a fifteen-minute walk from the front door. Sleeping accommodations include a king size bed in the master bedroom, twin bunk beds in the second upstairs bedroom, and a queen size bed in the downstairs bedroom. The three-season porch has a daybed that can sleep one more. Park your car and enjoy South Haven on foot or on bicycle – a common mode of transportation in and around South Haven. Bike racks are conveniently located downtown and at the beach. Trail heads for the Van Buren and Kal Haven bicycle trails are both a short ride from the house. We provide four adult bikes, one child-size bike and a wagon for hauling your stuff to the beach, but you can bring your own or rent more from the local bike shop. Linens and bath towels are included. There is also a reasonable supply of consumables to make your trip to the grocery a little easier – things like paper towels, dish soap, bar soap, foil, wax paper, plastic wrap, herbs and spices, etc.
