Replace tv, take inventory & organize/clean out condo before summer guests arrive.

We hit the food truck park for dinner yesterday. My love enjoyed his shrimp burger from Baja Fish Tacos & I had the shrimp bowl from Pineapple Ninjaz.
When you come stay in our condo go down to the food trucks.
We have a few dates left in June & July. August is open for a nice getaway before school starts.

New place to checkout.

It doesn’t matter what time of the year it is in Texas, a trip down to the Valley to visit South Padre is always well worth a stop. The island is full of things to do and it has a smorgasbord of places to eat including Mahi Nic, who is reeling in some big flavors....

Jason and Maria Norwood, owners of South Padre Surf Shuttle let us snap a photo after their new sign was installed on Friday afternoon. Congratulations - you are officially located in the SPI Multi-Modal Bldg. (ground floor)! Grab a bus to the Multi-Modal and then grab a shuttle to the airport, but they will pick you up at your location also.

While orbiting over the Gulf of Mexico, an astronaut aboard the International Space Station captured this image of South Padre Island along the Texas coast. The island is part of the greater Padre Island, the longest barrier island in the world, which spans a length of 113 miles (182 kilometers).

The southern portion of Laguna Madre is visible in the bottom-left half of the image. Laguna Madre is a 130-mile-long (210-kilometer) hypersaline lagoon and major estuary that is home to numerous species of fish, birds, and seagrass.

The Brazos Santiago Pass connects this portion of Laguna Madre to the Gulf of Mexico. This natural gap is extended by parallel jetties, which are breakwater structures designed to protect the coastline from erosion. Brown-hued sediment is transported across Laguna Madre, through the pass, and into the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

Barrier islands along the Gulf and East coasts of North America play a critical role protecting the mainland from the damaging effects of storms. They bear the brunt of large storm surges and reduce flooding on the mainland. South Padre Island has been hit by multiple major hurricanes over the last century, including hurricane Allen in 1980. https://go.nasa.gov/3IkvmO5
