Growth in tourism across Spartanburg County benefits residents and visitors alike. Just last year, our community welcomed 85 sports events and meetings, producing $32 million in direct spending in the market. That impact is significant, and we are proud to have the statewide showcase of the S.C. Governor's Conference on Travel & Tourism in town this week to showcase our tourism development growth.

Spartanburg hosted the annual South Carolina Governor's Conference on Tourism and Travel. It showed off the city to state leaders like Gov. Henry McMaster.
