Here's the latest on the snow that arrives tonight, and continues on-and-off into Thursday. Highest confidence for higher snow totals and greater impacts is for areas south and southwest of Charleston and Huntington.

Wednesday's snow will be focused over central and southern West Virginia. Then after a bit of a break for some of the area later Wednesday, widespread snow showers are expected Wednesday night into Thursday - some of them could be heavy.

Not quite 2 years ago....Noticing some changes in WV's Best Hometown. Crazy Little Mamas Decal has moved across town. OVP Health Clinic has opened in the previous Trader's Bank building. "Rooted" Beauty and Hair has opened on the corner of Market and Main streets. The Hungry Moose Smokehouse has opened on Church St. Joel Baker, Attorney at Law, opened an office on Main St. The MAGNIFICENT Ruby Bradley Bridge is up and running. Hardmans Home Improvement Center has moved to its new location and brought life to the previous grocery store site. Spencer Middle School has relocated to it's new location beside Roane County High school offering a new, state of the art facility. Progress is being made! Welcome to WV's BEST Hometown. Thank you Aaron Richardson for the great drone footage.

Goooooooo Raiders! Line the streets tomorrow at 2:45 in support of The Roane County Raiders. The team will be escorted by the City Of Spencer Police Department, leaving from RCHS, to the bypass, toward Charleston via Route 33 West. Cheer on our Champions!
