I had MANY clients experience Galactic Starcruiser and I maintain now and forever that the issue was marketing. If there's nothing to compare it to, then or now, then it's a marketing issue if people thought it was "too expensive".

Working on postcards while we watch Avengers! Lilly is definitely the Marvel expert in our house and often has to explain what is happening (or will happen, or did happen) 😅 This cruise is definitely all for her! We'd love to have more Marvel fans join us so she can geek out. But the day at sea is the only part of the cruise that is Marvel themed, so you'll have a blast regardless!

Disney Cruise Line Fans, can we talk about how the Wonder has the best food of all the ships? It has been 6 years and I still dream of this couscous paella, on my verandah, in the perfection of Baja weather. If I had known I would never see it again on another ship, I would have eaten more of it.

I have to do this cruise again.

We finally made it to Super Nintendo World at Universal Hollywood and it's as amazing as you've heard! We didn't get here until the very end of the day, after our VIP tour, and I totally wished we had planned on two days here. There's just so much to play with in this land, and it's about as far as you can get from the entrance. 😅

Speaking of VIP, this is the way to go at Universal Hollywood! There is ZERO Express Pass access for Mario Kart Bowser's Challenge, so the only way to skip the line is to be a VIP! It also gets you lots of extra backlot tour access, including getting off the tram to walk around sets and the prop warehouse. More about this soon!

One of my favorite things about Disney Cruise Line are the fun extras! You don't have to do things like this, but they are there if you want to participate. Our favorite thing is our pin trading board for our door.

Big Universal news this week! If I'm being honest I like Universal more for summer trips because their resort pools are so good, plus it's SO easy to add (and walk to) Volcano Bay.

The new land, which includes a ride called Trollercoaster, has been built on part of the former Woody’s KidZone, which closed in January 2023.

We heard on the radio that it's Take Your Child to Work Day today! Lilly comes to work with me all the time, since we homeschool. Sometimes that looks like her doing math in my office bean bag chair, sometimes she watches training with me, and of course, sometimes that means travel!

Next month we're going to Disneyland and Universal Hollywood with Francis, and then Lil and I are taking a solo trip to Walt Disney World! Summer is full of day camps and maybe a couple trips for Irish Dance, so we take a little break from Orlando until the fall.

So many thoughts here!
1. This is why you always book excursions through the cruise line. They are absolutely protected in this situation and this is in the cruise contract.
2. If you do decide to use a private tour, make sure they have a guarantee for getting you back to the ship on time.
3. Always have your passport, even if it's a closed loop cruise and you don't "technically" need it.
4. Always get travel insurance!
5. If you don't 100% understand 1-4, you better book with a travel agent! 😁
