We sell and deliver recyclable cups and compostable food serviceware to registered graduate and undergraduate student organizations at Stanford!

What is the ASSU Green Store? Greenstore.stanford.edu is an ASSU service project and online store that sells eco-friendly products to the campus community at break-even cost.

The store was founded in 2008 and its pilot product was the recyclable cup, motivated by an effort to diminish student usage of the popular, red, non-recyclable Solo cups.

During Green Store's first year in operation, it sold 58,000 recyclable cups. We currently serve over 50 student groups, residences, and university departments, which include:
School of Earth Sciences
Ballet Folklorico de Stanford
Sigma Nu
Terra
Stanford Quidditch
Pilipino American Student Union (PASU)
Stanford Society of Asian Scientists and Engineers (SASE)

Join us! Join Green Store's core team and have the freedom to take the Store in any direction you see fit -- to change its operational model, expand its product line, increase marketing efforts, and utilize different business strategies. It is an excellent unique opportunity for you to get engaging and hands-on business experience.
