I know this isn't the Lion Country Safari in Atlanta but here's a neat picture that I wanted to share! In this image two people pose under the Lion Country Safari sign in Irvine California from 1972. I shared this and thought it was interesting because the Lion Country Safari that was located in Atlanta had a sign that looked just like this! Does anyone out there remember Lion Country Safari that was located in Stockbridge, GA back in the 70's? I went there as a child and this was a really neat place!!! You could ride through in your car and see all kinds of different animals. They also had a really nice animal theme park filled with live shows and entertainment!!! Share your memories as well!!!
