On this we want to thank our staff for coordinating the setup and installation of the new fitness equipment last week at Park Place Family Recreation Center in partnership with RUSH Physical Therapy, 550 S. Park Blvd. Over the next few weeks we'll be familiarizing you with some of the new equipment and how it can benefit your workout routine.

In the meantime, we encourage our members to check out the new equipment and give us your feedback!

A reminder about Cari's new weekly Spin-Sculpt-Stretch class starting tomorrow (Jan. 18) from 9-10 a.m. at Park Place Family Recreation Center, 550 S. Park Blvd.

Enjoy cardio, resistance, and flexibility all in one 60-minute class for a full-body workout and a great start to your weekend. The class includes a 20-minute ride, followed by 20 minutes of resistance training and ending with a 20-minute mind-body focus with yoga-inspired movements.

As a reminder, beginning tomorrow (1/15) Park Place Family Recreation Center, 550 S. Park Blvd., will operate under modified hours for the next few days due to the installation of our new fitness equipment. Hours will be 6:45 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 15 through Friday, January 17. During this time both the fitness center and the walking track will be closed to the public. If you have any questions, please contact Guest Services at (630) 483-3010.

As a reminder, the fitness center at Park Place Family Recreation Center, 550 S. Park Blvd., will be closed to the public January 15-17, for the installation of our new fitness equipment. During this time, Park Place will be open the following hours:
• Wednesday, January 15 - 6:45 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Thursday, January 16 - 6:45 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Friday, January 17 - 6:45 a.m. to 9 p.m.

During the closure, members are invited to use LIFECENTER located at 700 S. Bartlett Road, Bartlett. The fitness center at Park Place is scheduled to reopen on Saturday, January 18.
