How are you celebrating Thanksgiving this year? I’d love to hear about your plans and traditions.

My Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving has become one of my favorite times to travel! It all started 16 years ago when my sister got married on a cruise over Thanksgiving. That sparked my love for exploring new places during the holiday season, and since then, I’ve celebrated Thanksgiving in Costa Rica, West Texas, South Carolina, Rome, New Orleans, Georgia, and Florida. Each trip brought new traditions, unique experiences, and memories I’ll treasure forever.

Of course, I still love the traditions that come with celebrating at home, so I aim to alternate between traveling and staying local every other year. This year, I’m hosting, and I couldn’t be more excited to spend the day with my family. Our plans include the Thanksgiving Day Parade, the National Dog Show, football, basketball, and a dessert contest! (And if you’re from Indiana, you’ll know no Thanksgiving table is complete without mashed potatoes topped with homemade egg noodles!)

For me, Thanksgiving isn’t just about the food on the table—it’s about the memories made with the people we love, whether at home or on an adventure. If you’ve ever thought about spending the holiday in a new destination, I highly recommend it! Traveling during Thanksgiving has shown me how special it is to experience this time of year in different places.

I hope your Thanksgiving is filled with love, gratitude, and cherished moments where ever you may be. 💛

Cheers, friends! Happy Wednesday! Is anyone else starting to feel the hustle and bustle of the holidays already, or is it just me? December is shaping up to be busy—I’m putting the finishing touches on trips for about 50 clients while pricing out new adventures. Plus, with holiday events and sports for my three kids, my calendar is filling up fast!
