True Blue is a blues based band that has strong roots in Juke Joints from Birmingham to the Mississippi Delta and beyond. Bob Marston on Bass/Vocals bring a strong blues background that adds great depth to the driving guitar from Christian Herring mixed with the speed, power and feel for the blues from the drums of Dylan Johnson give the perfect background to the soulful sounds of True Blue. The band shows the crowd a glimpse of the bridge between blues and rock. The bands infuses a Hill Country sound with a hint of the West Coast rock.

Come see True Blue perform a blistering blues rock set at Finster Fest on Sunday June 1st in Dowdy Park in downtown Summerville, GA. Its a free set and starts at 3 pm.

3 & 20’s music transcends the limited boundaries of traditional and contemporary genres. It is Country at its highest evolutionary level that cross reverberates with a unique blend of hip hop, rock, and R&B. Combine their passion for song writing with a high energy, must see live show, and you have something that can’t be explained… it must be experienced. Staying true to their country roots, their writing is influenced by legendary artists like Hank Williams Jr., Johnny Cash, Alabama, and Lynyrd Skynyrd; combine that with hip hop influences like Bone Thugs N Harmony and Dr.Dre, then add soulful harmonies inspired by Boyz II Men and Brian McKnight and you’ll appreciate the eclectic, good ole boy, rowdy back-road realism with a touch of “swang” (southern swagger with a twang) that makes 3 & 20 appealing to all demographics.

Come see 3 & 20 close down Finster Fest on Sunday June 1st, in Dowdy Park in downtown Summerville, GA. Its starts at 4 pm and is free.

Tracie’s passion for music began at an early age. Growing up in Blackshear Ga, she expressed her creativity by dancing, singing, and writing poetry. She became involved in music by joining the school band as a percussionist, and it didn’t take her long to figure out that she was a natural. From then on she became a self-taught pianist, and took things more seriously when she began taking professional vocal lessons. She took up the guitar with ease in 2007 and she began writing and playing with a local band. She has also had the opportunity to audition for the executive producers of the show “America’s Got Talent”, has been featured in South Georgia Magazine, and personal articles of her story told in the Blackshear Times and Savannah Daily. Her videos became viral and 8,000 YouTube subscribers and over 100k total views later, she is getting the recognition she has worked so hard for.

Her fans have described her as having “a soft, sweet, passionate voice, and an incredible dynamic range.” Her influences include John Mayer, Jack White and the White Stripes, Tom Petty, Miranda Lambert, and Jewel.

She is currently in the studio currently working on her Self Titled demo and playing at local venues, colleges, and clubs around the country. Come see her acoustic duo play at Finster Fest on Sunday June 1st in Dowdy Park in downtown Summervile Ga. Its a free set and it starts at 2:00 pm.

Yankee Slickers hail from Jacksonville, FL, and are no stranger to the musical tradition that is characteristic to the area: soulful and spirited guitar playing. Dueling solos and interweaving lines that are ambitious and aggressive provide the core of the sound that is sometimes Southern boogie, often funky and bluesy, occasionally bombastic power rock, yet always musical and honest. Jason Ivey and Caitlin McWIlliams share lead guitar and lead vocal duties, behind a dynamic rhythm section that reunites power and groove, reminiscent of the great rock music of the early 70s. The band is turning heads wherever they travel, emphasizing the song form but injecting a feeling of spontaneity and excitement that is becoming rare in pop music. Below is a live performance from the Spirit of Suwanee Music Park in Live Oak, FL from earlier this month. Come see the Yankee Slickers perform a free set next Saturday, May 31st in Dowdy Park in downtown Summerville, Ga as part of Finster Fest.

Born and raised in Middle Georgia, Travis Denning has been crafting his skills as a musician and as a songwriter since the age of 13. With a powerful voice and a mature musicianship beyond his years, Travis has proven himself as a must see live performer. With an arsenal of genres including Country, Bluegrass, Rock and Blues, Denning somehow combines all elements of his influence into a well balanced blend of music and stories. Macon's music magazine the 11th hour recently voted him best songwriter of 2013. Denning's debut single, "Ready For Tonight," captures the spirit and energy of his live show including a boisterous sing-along chorus. Come see Travis kick off the Man of Vision after show opening for The Whiskey Gentry, Randall Bramblett Band, and Shenandoah. Thayer Sarrano is a musician and interdisciplinary artist from Athens, GA who is forging her own path into a southern, gothic dreamland, combining dissonant drones and riffs with honest, painted lyrics. She is influenced by artists like Nick Cave, Neil Young, and Tom Waits and has been compared to other female singers like Hope Sandoval of Mazzy Star, Nancy Sinatra, and PJ Harvey.
The debut album, King, (2009) was recorded live in her living room and received critical praise, such as being hailed "The new queen of shoegaze" by Americana UK Magazine. Her follow up LP, "Lift Your Eyes to the Hills," (2012), features the single "The Bend" written for Groninger Museum, The Netherlands. The album was again engineered by Drew Vandenberg at Chase Park Transduction, Athens, GA, and was co-produced with Hank Sullivant (Kuroma, X-Whigs/MGMT).
The record was an independent release as a charitable campaign for CAMP AMPED at NUCI's SPACE, of which Thayer is passionately affiliated. It was chosen in the "Top 10 Records of the Year (so far)" by Flagpole Magazine. Thayer collaborates with numerous bands, including friend T. Hardy Morris. She was previously a touring member of of Montreal, Kuroma, and continues to work as a session keys, vocal, and pedal steel guitar player. Come see her play a free set on May 31st as part of Finster Fest!

Atlanta based The Whiskey Gentry released their debut album in 2011 to critical acclaim and started building a loyal fanbase. Like their debut album, "Holly Grove" was recorded by Athens producer John Keane and displays TWG's deft ability to merge Americana, Bluegrass, Punk, Folk, and all points in-between. Paste Magazine who called them a “toe-tapping, steamrolling kind of band, its fingers picking deep into fields of bluegrass…with a punk-inspired kick drum.” Come see The Whiskey Gentry perform on May 31st In Summerville, Georgia at Finster's Fest's Man of Vision after show alongside Shenandoah, Randall Bramblett Band, and Travis Denning Band.
