Hello Everyone!

This Saturday, April 12th, the Festival on the Avenue will be taking place right in front of our store, right on Manning Avenue.

During the event, from 10AM-4PM, there will be fun, food and games for the whole family right here in Sumter, and we hope everyone takes an opportunity to come out and enjoy the festivities!

That does mean that it will be tricky to get to Mystical Adventures Games during this time, but have no fear! We are still going to be showing out and having some fun activities right in our store!

During this time frame, we will be hosting Learn to Play activities for all of our events, including Magic the Gathering, Flesh and Blood, Pokemon, Lorecana, Blood Bowl, Warhammer, Universus and Dungeons and Dragons.

All of the games will have continuous opportunities for anyone to come in and learn all of these wonderful and fun games, and there will be a One-Shot learning game for Dungeons and Dragons.

Nothing is required to come learn any of these games, so please stop on in when you get the chance while enjoying the festival!

Mystical Adventures Games has been nominated for many different categories in this years Best of Sumter 2025 in the Sumter Item!

Voting is happening right now, so please get out there and vote! While we promote you voting for us, this is also just a fantastic way to support your favorite local businesses.

Hello there MaG Family!

We wanted to send a quick announcement involving our normal Wednesday Night events.

For today, January 22nd, due to the weather conditions, we will be canceling our regularly scheduled Wednesday Commander Social and Wednesday Night Blitz events.

Our doors will remain open however for anyone to come in and enjoy some time to warm up inside, but please only come in if you feel safe with the current road conditions.

Please stay safe and warm, and hopefully everyone gets a chance to enjoy the snow day, even for a little bit!

Hello MaG Family!

We have gotten many questions involving this, so we wanted to make sure to make an announcement about it.

Even with the incoming snow, we will be open during our normally scheduled hours.

However, we want to make sure everyone is safe out there, so please only come into the store if you feel comfortable driving in the upcoming weather conditions.

Due to the upcoming weather pattern, we are unfortunately cancelling our tournaments and events for this evening, January 10th.

However, our doors will be open in case anyone needs a quick respite from the outside during these times.

Hey there MaG Family!

We wanted to send a reminder of our New Year's Eve Event!

This Tuesday, December 31st, we will be hosting an all night party, full of Pop Up events for our various card games, a midnight Ball Drop Surprise, and just a fun night of fun and games to ring in the new year.

On top of that, we will be open for as long as we have people in the store, meaning we could be open all night if we have family that wants to stick around all night!

Lastly, we will be hosting a D20 special for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, where when you make a purchase on anything that isn't Food, Drink or Tournaments, you will roll a D20 and get that % off your purchase!(One roll per transaction, and military may either roll the die, or take their normal 10% before rolling)

We hope to see everyone for this all night fun, and thank you to everyone for supporting us so much this year!

Hey there MaG Family.

We wanted to make sure to send a quick announcement to the Mystical Adventures Games Holiday Schedule these upcoming weeks.

On Tuesday, December 24th, we will be working under reduced hours. We will be open from 12PM to 8PM that evening.

On Wednesday, December 25th, we will be closed for the entire day.

On Tuesday, December 31st, we will be open from 12PM, and while the scheduled close time is 10pm, as long as we have people at the store, we will stay open until everyone is gone.

Hey there MaG Family!

First off, I wanted to thank everyone for coming out and hanging out with us for our Holiday Event! It has so far been so much fun, and we hope you all think so as well!

We wanted to send a congratulations to Sarah for winning both our Painting Contest, as well as our Ugly Sweater Contest! And an honorable mention to Jamie and Gunner for second and third place, respectively!

Thank you to everyone who has supported us through our first ever year open and wish everyone a fantastic Holiday Season!

Hey there MAG Family.

In our ongoing effort to give plenty of fun tournaments and events to our family, we have recently added a new weekly tournament to our schedule.

On Wednesday Nights, starting at 7pm, we will be hosting Flesh and Blood Blitz events. Entry fee will be $7, and will have 1 1/2 packs per participant prize support to be given out at the end of the event!

We are also switching up our Draft schedule a little for Magic the Gathering. Starting this week, we will be hosting Drafts on Friday Nights. We are hoping that having draft nights on 2 potential weekend days will be more convenient to everyone looking to participate in some Magic Fun!

Hey there MaG Family! We wanted to send some quick announcements and reminders on this wonderful Saturday afternoon.

First off, our Holiday Painting Contest is coming to a close here soon. Everyone looking to submit their ornamented model needs to get those in by tomorrow, Sunday the 8th. We will be announcing the winner of this contest during our Holiday Party on Wednesday, December 18th.

Speaking of, we are having a Holiday Party on the 18th! Where we will be having an Ugly Sweater Contest as well as a White Elephant Gift exchange. For those who wish to participate in this, please be sure to come in and sign up as soon as possible.

Lastly, we are starting a new long lasting special for our store, Sticker Sales! We have Mystical Adventures Games stickers on many of our products, and each month we will be changing what has the sticker, but all products with this special sticker will be 15% off!

Happy Friday MaG Fam!

I wanted to send a quick reminder about both our Painting Contest and our Black Friday Deals that will be taking place next week.

We only have approximately 2 weeks left in our holiday painting contest. Anyone looking to try your hand at some holiday painting fun should come in and sign up as soon as possible!

Also, we will be having our Black Friday Deals all day! We will have all sealed card game products, excluding individual booster packs, at 15% off. Everything else in the store, including board games, miniatures games, and various accessories at 25% off. These deals exclude food and beverage products.

I can't wait to see everyone for some fun games and great deals!

Hey there MaG Family!

We wanted to send a big shout out to all of our friends who came out to the fun. We may only be half way through the event, but we appreciate everyone who came out all the same.

We wanted to make an announcement that tomorrow, November 9th at 7PM, we will be having a second chance prerelease event! So anyone who was not able to come out and enjoy the fun, or want to come out and enjoy this set again, have a chance to come by for another round!

Also, this Sunday, November 10th, will be a Jumpstart Event over our normal Draft event! Entry will be $15 and will be a fun round of Jumpstart, which we have not seen in a while.

Hey MaG Fam!

I want to thank everyone for coming out to the Halloween Party at the store last night. It was a blast and I hope everyone who came out had fun as well!

I do want to make some quick shout-outs and Thank yous to some special individuals.

First, I want to thank JP for not only donating the pizzas that were offered for the evening, but also winning the Commander deck!

I also wanted to give a big follow-up congratulations to Jason and Matt for their Second and Third place wins, respectively, and walking away with an extra large 2-player playmat each!

I want to congratulate Dani for her win in the painting contest, but want to thank everyone who joined in. Everyone's models looked amazing and made it hard for our judge to decide on a winner.

Congratulations as well to Rocky for winning the Funniest Costume, Joe for winning the Scariest Costume, and Emerson for winning best overall!

As for the Judge of the event, I want to thank Frank for judging our contests! Thank you very much for assisting in these events and your help with our judging in the past as well!

Lastly, I want to shout out Josh and his team at Popa Johns in Sumter for making the pizzas for the event! They were delicious!

As for my final announcement on this post: our Halloween Red Sticker sale of 15% off will be extended through Sunday, November 3rd, so even if you couldn't come by and get what you wanted the night of, you can still come in and get your savings.

I hope everyone had a fun night last night, both those who joined us and those who didn't, and I hope everyone had a safe Halloween night!

Hello MAG Family!

Tomorrow is the big day: Halloween!

This means that we are having our Halloween Celebration Night tomorrow, which includes so many options for everyone to enjoy!

For everyone, we will be having a costume contest, where the only rules for the costume is that it cannot include a mask, and be PG-13.

Also, we are having a sale on our spooky themed board games. We are offering 15% to everyone and 20% off to anyone in costume!

As for our events, we have our Duskmourne Trick or Treat event that night starting at 7pm. With $20 entry and everyone will get 4 Duskmourne Play Boosters and 2 other random boosters to be used in a chaos sealed event, all with a chance to walk away with a Commander Precon!

We are also offering 2 side events for the evening, for those who may not want to play Magic or the slots for it are full.

We will be doing a Flesh and Blood Commoner event starting at 7:30 PM, and a Universus Retro event starting at 8 PM. Both of these will have a $5 entry fee and will offer a chance to walk away with a playmat.

Besides the events, we also have many goodies and treats we will be giving away as an appreciation for everyone who has supported us in our first year open!

We hope to see everyone on Halloween night, and for those who may not be able to make it, We hope everyone has a safe and spooky Halloween!

Happy Monday Everyone!

I wanted to thank everyone who joined us for our Universus Season 3 Local Championships!

It was a long day of fun, and I hope everyone who joined us had as much fun as we did!

Also, congratulations to Peyton Kyker for winning the event and the Championship playmat!

I can't wait to see what everyone brews up with the next set on the way with Prerelease on Saturday, November 2nd, and Season 4 events on the way!
