Late Post!
This is a great deal. It beats the crowds this weekend at the restaurants and cost way less.

I personally would’ve got this deal and Dr . up what I could as far as season and through the steak in the oven for longer and then present it well. Add a bottle of wine and good playlist. You can’t beat the price.

I am not a chocolate girl…..but these the ones.
If you’re looking for good chocolate with a lil extra….. get this one specifically.

Do not give them Hersey, Dove, Lindt, Lindor, Godiva etc. Please standout and give them something different and actually better. The people you love deserves it!

Food Diaries

New Years Day is not complete without soup Joumou. This is a Haitian tradition to celebrate Haiti Independence.

Spicy Rigatoni, One thing for sure and two for certain. I am not Italian or a chef.......but don't push me. At this point I am pro at this dish.

Avocado Toast self-explanatory

Fried Egg, Chicken Sausage and Toast

Oatmeal, Tea & Fruit Juice . I made the juice, I don't remember which one this was.

Fruit Toast this is made with nectarines, and cheddar cheese spread. I drizzled honey and balsamic vinegar glaze. Chef's Kiss y'all. I'm addicted.

More Avocado Toast

Scallops, Garlic Noodle Pasta and Broccoli. This one truly felt like fine dining at home.

Peanut Butter Cookies they were good!

When I look back at my work, I feel so proud.... my cooking resume is getting pretty impressive. Sometimes I enjoy the process and appreciate the opportunity to enjoy making things for myself at home. If you ever get invite to dine with me, you better come on!

Luther Vandross

As mentioned before, I finally got to watch the Luther Vandross documentary. Here's my thoughts.

First off.........Jamie Foxx produced this one, he did an awesome job. I gotta give it to Jamie for even thinking of doing this. It is much appreciated from all true Luther Vandross fans. Outside of his stage performances and the few television interviews, we really didn't get a chance to know Luther. The world got to hear his amazing voice and see his talent; and the documentary showed a small side of him that was not televised.

I love Luther and he seemed to have been a great guy on stage and off the stage.......gone to soon. Luther is and will always be in my top 10 maybe top 5.

We are in the love month, for those of us from the 80s & 90s we can't talk about love without mentioning Luther. He had love songs for days! I have been and will be bumping to him all month long, pretty much ever since I saw the documentary. If you have Apple Music get this playlist, it has all his hits on it....by the way anybody know who Michelle was/is?

One more thing!
Kendrick Lamar sampled his song, If This World Were Mine. I really hope that song makes it to Kendricks Superbowl halftime show.

Anyway, back in the day, I just enjoyed his songs. Now as an adult and after watching the documentary his songs take on a whole new meaning. Both the documentary and the playlist are recommended.

PSA! His songs are not just for lovers, married, people, couples etc. Apply some self love and self care to you by enjoying his songs like Any Love
Then love on others.

While enjoying his beautiful music about love. He is also one of my go to for Christmas Playlist.

Get into this Luther Playlist, it literally has all his hit songs.

It’s Friday!

I wanted Mexican Food so I made it at home. This bowl was delicious, it has to be repeated soon. Not my first time making this chipotle dupe either, however my first time making pico de gallo. The more I make these bowls, the better it gets.

I was suppose to make steak too. It well seasoned and all…..I got tired of cooking. The steak got thrown in the freezer for another day.

P.S. I’m proud of my work. I understood the assignment, I give my self A+
I’m making the Deans List every time. Thanks to the Culinary School of TikTok

Good Morning, this is my second juice of 2025.

I don’t usually use a whole pineapple, because pineapples are super sweet. If it’s a green juice I’ll probably use a whole pineapple , it’s also depending on how much green juice I make.

It was so good, I’m ready to run it back.
