This was at a food hall, by the way I really enjoyed this Food Haul, I could've ate all of the spots. Everything looked delicious, in fact I did end up picking up some Jollof Rice at an African Spot there. More on that later

Anyway back to the seafood, this particular place is known for award winning crab cakes. As you can see from the video's I posted, (the taste test) Everything was delicious and crab cakes held up to the award-winning title, truly couldn’t agree more. Crab cakes taste authentic, fillers where? All I taste was crab meat! You have to be in this city to experience crabs, hand down the best quality.

This was a casual spot, if you're looking for upscale places for Crab Cakes, I also know a spot that I shared here a while back.

Any who, the line stayed long and strong, the prices are also good. This is not black owned, but we definitely was in there pushing them pots. Customer service was also very good.

Ohh and the oysters! Thee best oysters I've ever had in my life. They were actually the biggest oysters too and the shells were heavy/weighted. So, you know it's real. I dressed up my oysters by adding black pepper, horseradish, lemon, vinegar and hot sauce. The prefect combo.

Get into it!

Great experience if you are into seafood, you would love this spot.

Multiple locations throughout the country. I tried the local one in Plantation, Fl

I did recieve an email with a birthday promo ($20 Birthday Reward) with an expiration date 4-9-25, if your new here my birthday was 2/27. That was a generous offer and I definitely wanted to try.

Any who the restaurant was cute and they offer an extensive Asian menu. The first time I went I didn't realize that the birthday promo was only good Mon-thru Thursday, so I ended up not using it that day. I had the Shrimp Tempura Lunch Special that came with Miso Soup and their house ice tea "RA" Iced Tea. .......

Following the directions on the email the next time I went, I tried the Hibachi Steak Teriyaki Bowl, which also came with Miso Soup. I was up charged $8 to get the fried rice instead of the white rice that comes with it.

Overall the best thing on both visits was the Miso Soup, the sushi and hibachi was ok...honestly, I had better at a Mall Food Court. On top of that they are a bit pricey and the taste and quality was not where the price point is.

The service was ok and the ambience is good........

I already gave them a Google Review and received a response. Hopefully they do better moving forward......I'm Just saying for now…….skip this one, at least this location. Unless you just want Miso.

Late Post!

Going through my phone now and realized I didn’t share this.

Since this experience, I went to my tried and true and got me a gyro bowl which was really good. Sometimes it’s best to stick to what you know.

I was put on to this Mid-Eastern Restaurant called Beirut.

It is not in Florida

Authentic Lebanese food, it was a bit pricey in my opinion, great service though. The Chicken Shawarma was good and yes the garlic sauce is good too!

They have Baklava, I didn’t try because it wasn’t recommended. I think I will next time because it actually looked good. They also serve Turkish coffee which I heard was good here.
Anywho more things on the menu I want to try, until next time.

I like finding gems when I travel….other cultures foods is big bonus. I really wish somebody would pay me to travel the world and try foods from around the world. Ideal job for me right now.

I’m back going through my closet and finding things I haven’t worn in a long time.

I started purging my closet a few years ago and got rid of a lot of stuff and it’s still a lot of clothes.
It doesn’t help my purging to still be shopping…..but we move.
Work in progress, I decided to where the skirt to see if I still want to keep it. 🤷🏾‍♀️

I support your rights to smoke Ma*****na and to decriminalize it completely. However, please be mindful that people who don't smoke don't want to smell w**d all the time and everywhere.

I don't want second hand smoke or to catch a contact high by proximity. I'm just saying respect public spaces.

I'm speaking in advance, because I heard it's going to be on the ballot again in Florida.

Happy Resurrection Sunday!

I’m getting ready for church, I’m excited to seek him and get in his presence. To celebrate our risen King.

The love God has for us, to give his only son so that we may have eternal life so that we can be free…..greatest gift of all. Y’all better be thankful, appreciative and show gratitude.

He is worthy of all praises and honor…and you should get up and join us in worship this morning.

If you have to work, catch services online or after work find an evening service, no excuses there’s plenty of ways to connect.

This should not be the lazy Sunday where you just lay in bed or just go to brunch.

Good Morning!

Disclaimer: My storage is full, therefore I’m dropping lost files/videos. Please be prepared for a lot of late post.

Anyway…..every time I come to this city for beignets she’s either closed and or I’m not on this side of town….
Finally got a chance to try Loretta’s!

I’m not a regular beignet type of girl because I don’t like powder sugar or any added sugar period. So having a savory option is great….and it’s seafood. Really enjoyed it, they didn’t have the crawfish beignets that day. I would’ve definitely tried that too.
It’s Black Owned by the way and the service was good. Highly recommend Loretta’s

Last One
Dettol is my favorite cleansing bar. I’ve been using it for a long time. Most Caribbean people are familiar with it and use it in other forms. It is antibacterial kills most germs, I wash with this first. Definitely use to use it on my kids when they were in daycare or school. I’m not to mad at the inflation price either….I can do $2 a bar it’s worth it! Or you can use Dial which is also antibacterial and available at Walmart.

Tomato Leaf Scented Candle. I stopped burning candles about 2 years ago….. it was something about this Tomato Leaf Candle that broke me down to purchase and burn it. Absolutely no regrets, it smells so good! Trader Joes did their big one with this one. The candle is seasonal for Spring, and went viral and now is out of stock….hopefully it gets restocked for the season.
Sephora Sale is a true scam unless you are purchasing Sephora Brand items to get the 30% off. The 10% on everything else is nothing, they can keep it. I did get a Sephora Brow Pencil and saved like $3. Forgot to show it here.

I’m all for sales especially in this economy ….. just make it make sense. From now on the savings got to be at least 20% or more. If not I’m not participating.

Jeni’s Ice Cream on sale at Target….When is the Target Boycott over? I’m sorry, I’m not missing a sale on my favorite ice cream.
S.N. Our point was made, Target definitely felt our absence. I’m so proud of all who supported the boycott….look what we can do when we unite! TBH….I really didn’t miss Target and barely picked up anything when I went.

Another Water Bottle Y’all……it’s a journey to find a good water bottle. I refused to be like everyone else and get a Stanley…. By the way Stanleys are overpriced….not me girl. One of these Marshalls bottles gon have to work.

They have the gyro on their lunch special and that's what interested me in trying.

My Disclaimer, take what you want from this review and try for yourself. A bit disappointing for me……but you may like it.

It's a cute restaurant and the service was good.

I ordered a drink off the regular menu because I didn't like the offerings on the lunch menu. It was supposed to be a Signature Cocktail...... they brought me a regular mojito. I know I could have sent it back, but I didn't. I feel like the bar tender was either the Dad or Uncle of the owners. He did what he could child.... I was not going to complicate his day.

The gyro finally came out, it looked very appealing and appetizing...but fell flat on taste. First of all, the meat did not taste like lamb and it was shredded in a weird way not like gyro meat usually comes. To top it off it was luke warm, the fries was the best thing on the plate.

Sorry to say, skip this one! I don't like to provide negative reviews on people business, but I also want to be honest and share my experience. In case you don't know, I do Google reviews and as of lately I’m up to 14M views. Hopefully they get it together over there, cause it’s a really cute spot and I see potential for them. We need more upscale Mediterranean inspired Restaurants here.
