I was happily surprised at the ease of rooting this baby in rainwater. Being a plant parent to low maintenance babies, I distanced myself from this fabulously colored foliage. I've learned that it favors moist-ish media and will speak when in need of water by dropping its leaves 🪴😊

A cozy room in a historic building was a unique option for our sister circle meet-up. After our meeting and the first serving of our potluck meal, a guide gave us a personalized tour of the historic home and historic school house within steps of our meet-up location. We were then allowed a self guided tour and full access to our host building. The top floor is dedicated to work stations and showrooms for local artists. On any given day, one of said artists is available for questions and trivia. I was thrilled to see all the various works and styles; some are for sale. The staff at the inn were like family; offering to help with our setup, taking group photos, sharing trivia tidbits, and helpful information. Follow my IG @beyondfortnersgarden
