On our recent Treasures of Peru group tour, we were treated to a tour at the home & studio of famous Peruvian sculptor, Victor Delfin. He is the artist who created 'The Kiss' on display at the park in Miraflores. Now 96, he welcomed us into his studio. How grateful we were to be able to meet him and tour his home overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Barranco!

Scenes from the Anna Tasca Lanza Cooking School on our 2019 Sicily tour. The school is housed in Casa Vecchie and is located in the rural interior of Sicily. What a treat to meet Fabrizia, the daughter of Anna Tasca Lanza, who now runs the cooking school. Anna helped introduce Sicilian cuisine to the world. It is definitely old-world with cooking techniques and ingredients that amaze.

On our recent trip to Peru, we cooked a version of the classic dish, Causa, with Chef Pio at El Huacatay in Urumbamba (the Sacred Valley). He had a great 'twist' to every layer. So delicious. .. What a treat!
