Quick little 4 day trip to explore Salzburg and Vienna with two of my favorite gals. Food tour, funiculars, Austrian wine, trains, Parliament, Schönau National Park, Hohensaulzbourg Fortress, German and Austrian Alps, shopping, castles, churches, Sound of Music Tour. Quite the whirlwind! I need a freaking 😴 nap! Highly recommend!

✈️💤 Those of you who know me personally, also know that I have a bit of an obsession with sleep. Many of you know firsthand how important it is to arrive to your destination well-rested! Whether it's a long-haul flight, a noisy hotel, or an unexpected delay, these sleep essentials have made all the difference for me and I picked up most of them right on amazon!

1- A solid sleep mask. I personally love my mask. The pads are removable so you can wash them and place them further or closer together. They also have options for heated and cooling eye pads. The strap is also velcro to adjust to all head shapes and sizes

2- A mini fan. If you are like me and always get hot, I use this in the hotel room, on the plane and carry it in my purse in warmer destinations!

3- Yes that is a chip clip from the dollar tree (3 pack for $1) I HATE when curtains don't close all of the way in hotel rooms and light peaks in so I bring one of these every wear I go just in case!

4- Big spoon drops. has all sorts of tinctures with CBD, melatonin and other natural ingredients to help you relax and fall asleep a bit easier.

5- Ear plugs- I have learned over the years that regular ear buds and plugs just don't stay in my ears and then they fall out and I lose them. These plugs are silicone and are held together by a little string, so if they do happen to fall out during the night, I just pop em' right back in! Genius right?

What are your favorite travel sleep accessories?

What’s your favorite national park? Mine has to be Olympic National Park. It is a breathtaking blend of lush rainforests, towering mountains, and rugged coastlines. My favorite part was Hiking through the moss-draped Hoh Rainforest. Unforgettable!

To piggy back off my previous post regarding free stopovers, here are some highlights of our 4 days in Istanbul! The food, the people and the mosques were just breathtaking! Not to mention, if you are a fan of kitty cats, they are everywhere (including inside shops and gyms) and everyone takes care of them! Turkish Airlines funded two nights of our hotels, which wasn’t a bad thing either.

Temples, Tuk Tuks and street food galore. I have had $10 massages almost daily. The Thai people are so kind and welcoming- always bowing to us as we enter and exit a restaurant, hotel or shop. Could be my favorite destination of my 2020’s thus far. Would love to help you plan your adventure!

I’m here to tell you that SPRING IN Europe IS NOT WARM!!! I’ve had many conversations with people lately who want to go to Spain, Portugal, and Italy during the April timeframe. Unless you’re going VERY far south in Spain or Italy such as Costa Del Sol and closer to LATE April, you can expect temperatures in the 50s or 60s and often time lots of rain. Not beach weather! There are exceptions, such as the Canary Islands that are owned by Spain, but they are technically off the coast of Africa. There you will get comfortably warm weather year-round. This is of course, not a reason to scare you off. Crowds are much better this time of year, most things are open and you can still explore until your heart is content ❤️ That is all 😊

Typically, I don’t get overly excited for black Friday deals, because cruise lines run deals throughout the year, but Celebrity has got some legit good pricing right now on their cruises as part of their Black Friday deals. Here are some of my faves!

Where is the most unconventional beautiful place you’ve ever been? I think most people think of warm weather equalling beauty, but around this time last year we were up in Tromso, Norway. Unbelievably stunning landscapes. #

If you have any Spirit flights coming up, you may want to have a back up plan- preferably refundable in case Spirit saves themselves.

Now that the weather is changing, I am getting lots of questions regarding warm getaways. Mexico and the Caribbean are always solid options, but if you have a little more time to travel, ever thought about Cape Verde? They are a string of 10 volcanic islands that gained their independence In 1975 from Portugal. Located off the west coast of Senegal, they are a bit untouched and less developed than the islands aforementioned. Some highlights of our trip last December!

Due to some medical things, I’ve had to put a pause to my travels the last month, however, it it has given me time to reflect upon the amazing city that I have been able to call Home for the last year. I highly recommend if you can to come visit Copenhagen and the surrounding areas, to do so!! It is a Mecca of beautiful castles, intriguing museums, beautiful cathedrals, Tivoli Gardens, impeccable restaurants, home to a professional soccer team, lively parades and races, beautiful nature, and an energy I can’t really put into words. I’ve created a little compilation of some of my favorite moments in my first 15 months here! Enjoy and know that I can curate your perfect get away to the Nordics when you’re ready!!!

Virgin voyages is running some specials this month. Here’s a few reasons why this cruise line is fun and different:

1- It’s truly the ONLY adults only cruise line
2-Specialty dining, fitness classes and Wi-Fi are included in the price
3- There is no traditional “buffet,” like other cruise lines. Instead, they have a stylish, made to order food hall option.
4- Did you know there’s a tattoo parlor on board? 😀
5- Modern, spacious cabins
6- Unique itineraries

Not to sound too much like a commercial, but life doesn’t always go as planned. Unfortunately, I had some medical stuff that prevented us from traveling to Poland this weekend. FORTUNATELY, cancelling our trip costed us zero. I know medical insurance seems just like an “extra expense” but when you are able to use it, you remember why it’s so important. All the sudden $50 to save $1,000 doesn’t seem so bad. Resting up and hoping to get Poland back on the list this fall sometime. Happy Sunday!! ❤️

I love this couple's retreat, not just because it is run
by an old student of mine (Now I feel old) but it's in a beautiful area of Costa Rica called Arenal- beautiful rain forests, covered bridges, wildlife and the most beautiful symmetrical volcano that stands 5400 feet high! Each couple gets their own villa and spends the week experiencing powerful partner and group workshops! If we were on the right side of the world right now, this is something I would definitely be pushing for us to attend!
Check it out!

Last week, we just brought home a new little kitty cat, Hygge. Everyone always asks how we travel so much with a pet at home. One of the best apps we have discovered has been the TrustedHousesitters app. You pay one fee for the entire year and it pays for unlimited house and pet sits. It’s kind of like Tinder-you get to read all of the sitter’s profiles and their reviews and video chat with applicants. They actually stay at your home, which to me is so much better for my fur baby than a once a day check in! We paid $149 last year and were away a total of 38 days. That’s basically $3.50 a day for full time pet care- can’t beat it!!!
