The Towerview Vineyard's "tricked out" Tower is a 400-square foot rustic house that acts in the midst of a Southern Oregon Vineyard. Made of reclaimed wood, pipes and pulleys, it has the feeling of a "wayward pirate ship, floating in the a sea of Syrah vines," according to author Suzanne Mathis McQueen, who wrote about her experiences living here and decorating this "tiny houses" Her writing capt

ured the attention of local newspapers and HGTV's producers, who featured the Towerview Vineyard Retreat on its 2016 New Year's Day special "Mighty Tiny Houses." The dual-purpose structure, which houses the property's water well, was built by vineyard owner Steve Brairton - known as the Door Guy in the Medford, Oregon area - and his sons. Construction materials include wood from two barns, constructed when Abraham Lincoln was president, which was salvaged and used for walls. Door handles are really old hammers and axes. This unique structure not only serves as a whimsical retreat for groups looking for a fun yet relaxing venue.
