Celebrating a Decade of NovelEsolutions, Inc.! 🎉

Ten years is a decade, a true milestone, and a huge chunk of a lifetime. NovelEsolutions was incorporated ten years ago today. As President, I remember where I was that day, at that time, and it honestly feels like both yesterday and forever ago.

Our client base is all due to referrals from my friends, family, and work colleagues. Thank you to each of you for your faith in me to serve your environmental and engineering needs. Every time a new client walks in the door, I am so honored and grateful for my professional network and my industry reputation.

My goal in starting NovelEsolutions was not only to provide high-quality consulting services but also to create a business where people wanted to work. I was told once that “your staff wants to do a good job for you,” and that has stuck with me over the years. Work can be fun, and I want our team to be happy here and love what they do every day.

USACE AWARD!
NovelEsolutions was awarded a 4-year, $400,000 IDIQ with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District. Our team is out on the stunning reservoirs of Kentucky this week enjoying boat life.

We are thankful to support the Water Quality Team at Louisville on this unique project. It's our 4th year sampling these reservoirs and working with the great folks at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center. Now this is what I call work-life balance! 😍

Here, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Indian River Lagoon, hope, in the form of new tufts of seagrass, is sprouting all around.

On a recent day, Don Deis snorkels through a crystal clear ocean-estuary mix, finding new signs of life among the blades that bud up here like alfalfa sprouts from the sun-glittered sandy bottom....

More than 8 acres of seagrass have grown back at the Sebastian Inlet since 2020. Brevard officials hope to replicate that success.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Tuesday announced nearly $14 million in the 2022-23 state budget will continue to support red tide research and mitigation technologies.

DeSantis made the announcement at an afternoon news conference in Clearwater.

This funding will support research efforts through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and Mote Marine Laboratory in addition to providing grants through the Department of Environmental Protection for red tide cleanup.

With the latest investment, since 2019, $40 million has been invested in addressing red tide, from detection to mitigation.

Governor Ron DeSantis made two stops in the panhandle on Friday, starting in Port St. Joe and then making his way to Apalachicola.

It seems DeSantis never comes empty-handed. He had millions of dollars written out on massive checks for communities all across the Panhandle.

During his stop in Gulf County, DeSantis awarded more than $23 million funded through the Rural Infrastructure Fund, the Community Development Block Grant-CV Program, and the CDBG-DR Hazard Mitigation Grant Match Program.

Port St. Joe was given nearly $700,000 to install a new waterline downtown.
