While everyone was flipping beads I was flipping shrimp. Busted a few thumpers just in the slot and a bunch of sheepies.. Still took me a half hour and 3 beers to get out of all my gear.

Hawgs and Mangs..and Mangs and Hawwggz all.day.long. Great trip beautiful day. Still a pretty good residual swell out there but getting smooth. Never even put a grouper rod out the snapper were chewing too much..

Couple highlights from today. Great crew, good bite. Lots of short snook and a few slot reds to go along with it but my gopro decided to stay in the truck again. Beautiful day out there.

Not a bad haul for a rainy day.. lots of mid slot reds one nice one just inside the slot. Whole bunch of little snook. We hooked a monster snook but he took my Gamakatsu..
