🚨 GM Tip 🚨

Make sure you take breaks--especially when you're not sure what to do next.

Go for a short walk or bathroom break and use the quiet time to think about what needs to happen. Bio breaks are a great way to pause the fiction and collect your thoughts.

When you sit back down at the table, listen to what your players are saying. Often they'll be chatting about what they think will happen or what they want to happen.

Give that to them. A satisfying story comes from working with your players to give them what they want and what you think is cool!

What's your spookiest ttrpg moment?

We were playing a game of kids at a creepy school who were playing with a spirit board. It got real quiet and everyone was moving the planchette around. The spirit we were talking to was promising we were all going to die if we stayed at the school...

One of our friends came home and closed the door really loudly. Everyone jumped, glanced at each other, and then laughed.

Spirit boards. Always good for a spooky time.
