Kikachains

Kikachains are handmade, glass and ceramic-beaded keychains. The company was started by a 7-year-ol She sold the remainder of her keychains and made $52!

In November, 2009, Annika, then 7, was making holidays gifts for her classmates with her mom, Rebecca. They used glass and ceramic beads to make individual, colorful, keychains. Annika had a bunch left over and was permitted to set up a little table during a Fall Craft Fair. If you know Annika, you know she has a very generous heart. She has three piggy banks in her room, labeled "Spend,"" Save" a

nd "Give." Annika had figured out some time ago that the more she put in the "Give" piggy bank, the more satisfaction she felt. She and Rebecca decided they wanted to sell more keychains to help raise more money for people who need it. They chose Leukemia Research because the summer before they had lost a dear friend, Lexia, to the disease. She was - and always will be - a constant inspiration.
