Save the Date for the 3rd annual OTR x Back of the Dragon, Virginia rally weekend June 7, 8, 9, 2024 brought to you by

OTR & the Back of the Dragon are coming together again to put on another rally like takeover in the town of Tazewell, Virginia that will include the following:

Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains on Virginia’s famed Route 16 lies the BOTD…32 miles, 438 curves, 3500 elevation of exhilarating & unparalleled excitement that draws motorcycle riders & car enthusiasts from all over the U.S., Canada & Europe.

Also, at the foot of the road sits the BOTD center that contains a brewery, retail / coffee shop, & a food truck that riders & drivers greatly enjoy before or after they try to tame the Dragon.

What to expect at this years rally weekend:

Join us on October 28 at 7 p.m. for an evening of spooks and scares as our beautiful park is transformed into the stuff of nightmares. Hold back screams as you traverse along a twisted, gnarled path with horrors around every corner. It's like a haunted house without the comforts of home.

Mountain bikers have a new riding opportunity in Southwest Virginia. Hungry Mother State Park has opened 3 miles of its new Raider’s Run Mountain Bike Trail System. The remaining 2 miles are under construction and will open in the spring of 2025.

It may be hard to believe, but just 10 minutes off the interstate is one of Virginia's most peaceful mountain lakes. At the heart of Hungry Mother State Park is Hungry Mother Lake, a 108-acre impoundment created in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Sign up for one of the park's many activities... or just rent a paddleboard and drift away for a while.
