Dear Far West Farms Family and Friends,

May this letter find you and yours happy and healthy as 2023 comes to a close and the New Year approaches. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Far West Farms community for your loyalty, support, and friendship.

For over 50 years, I've been honored to share Far West Farms and a love of horses with families such as yours. Our community became a sanctuary to escape, bond with horses, make friends, share smiles and laughter, and experience personal growth and maturity. We proudly created a legacy of successful and decorated equestrians, horse enthusiasts, and talented trainers.

As most of you know, the property has been for sale for many years. Our original dream and goal was for Far West Farms to remain an equestrian facility; however, after tremendous time, energy, and effort, it did not transpire.

Fortunately, another plan evolved, and I am pleased to announce that the property is now sold to an entity, bringing forth a most beautiful contribution to the community. The land will continue to provide joy and happiness to many. We will leave it to the Buyers to share the good news of their intentions and vision.

We are in the process of rehoming our horses and ponies to only the best of homes. Our older horses and ponies are planning for retirement to enjoy all they deserve and a big grassy field.

We intend to follow the ongoing success of our riders, horses, trainers, staff, and lifelong friends.

Effective immediately, all lessons are canceled. If you have any questions or wish to discuss options, please call the office (818-591-2180) and leave a message. I'll get back to you as soon as possible. Moving forward, you will find me teaching clinics, riding, and sharing the splendor of horses and the spirit of horsemanship values.

I wholeheartedly agree and will always agree with Winston Churchill: "The outside of the horse is good for the inside of a man."

With warmest regards and best wishes always,
Nick Karazissis
