🦍🦒🐘🥘 What are the two common misconceptions you have heard about Disney's Animal Kingdom, that it's a zoo? or it's a half day park? Well, both are wrong Disney's Animal Kingdom is NOT a zoo nor a half day park. It's an immersive experience that combines wildlife, adventure, education and fantasy to create an extraordinary theme park for all ages. With so many nooks, crannies, trails, attractions and delicious food, the real questions are how will you fit is all in one day?

Animal Kingdom is such a unique park that it doesn't even feel like you can classify it as a "theme park" It's impressive commitment to conservation to the authentic storytelling across all lands and attractions you may just find this to be the theme park that impresses you most!

🎳Have some "spare" time on your dedicated resort day? Strike up some fun at Splitsville Luxury Lanes! This is not your average bowling alley. With incredible food ( I REALLY MEAN IT), upbeat music and fun vibe, it's a fantastic way to pin down the whole gang for some family fun time outside the parks.

Spending a non-park day in Disney Springs is always a must for me and my family and we always go to Splitsville for some fun and friendly competition and makes a great stop for some lunch as well.

Whether you are at the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort, Splitsville is a fun way to spend some vacation hours on non-park days or as a break from the parks in the afternoon. Have you bowled at Splitsville yet?

🎃👻🍬BOO TO YOU! It is spooky season for sure in Magic Kingdom and the first MNSSHP of the year has already put a spell on guests! This separate ticketed event is all treats with no tricks. Special party exclusive character (Jack and Sally), snacks, merchandise and shows alone are worth the price of admission. Throw in lighter crowds and it's REALLY a potion for a magical night. What's your favorite part of MNSSHP?

PRO TIP: 🎃👻🍬 There will be loads of nights between now and the end of October that will have Magic Kingdom closing eerily early to non-party guests. Don't be scared to visit Magic Kingdom on a party day even if you don't have the special even tickets. Many times, we see lighter crowds ALL day on party days. So, you can have lighter crowds as a treat and then head out to enjoy another park, a delicious dinner or have a "Movie Under the Stars" night at your resort.

🥱🥱🥱There is no tired like Disney tired, and that is THE truth. Even the most seasoned park goers feel the pulsations of tired feet, the sheer exhaustion of long marathon walking days and the need to maybe just take a breather. Plan it in! A rest day is the perfect way to still be immersed in all things Disney but recharge your park battery. Whether it be spent relaxing in the pool, sleeping in late, resort hopping to try some new snacks or taking a tumbler creating class in a resort community room, there's something for everyone. What's your favorite way to relax during a Disney vacation?

Taking a rest day in Disney isn't being lazy, it's an act of self-preservation. There is SO much to do, Walt Disney World will legit kick your butt, pals! Take a load off and enjoy your amazing resort. No matter where you stay, it has everything you need: great food, fun (and free) activities, shopping and above all somewhere to rest your dog-tired feet! How do you do "lazy" in Disney?

🍽🥁🎸A question I often get from my guests is "Whats included in EPCOT's International Food & Wine Festival?" While actual food and wine is available for purchase at booths throughout the park, one thing included with your EPCOT park admission is the Eat to the Beat concert series. During this festival, the American Gardens Theater is hot to popular music acts that play 20-30 minute sets a few times a day Friday's thru Mondays (with local acts performing Tues-Thurs.)

If there is an act you are just dying to see, the best way to guarantee a seat is to book an Eat to the Beat Dining Package! With a choice of dining at breakfast, lunch or dinner at some of EPCOT's best restaurants, it's a win-win!

The 2023 Food & Wine Festival is well underway, but it's not too late to book a visit THIS YEAR as it runs into November and it's never too early to plan for next year! 🐭With SO much history at Disneyland, what do you think seeing live and in person would give you the most goosebumps? Walt's apartment? The original attractions? Just the stroll down Main Street, USA? What can't you wait to see or do first?

Disney fans everywhere have a soft spot for Walt Disney, and deservedly so. Visiting the parks especially Disneyland where it all began, is as much about paying homage to Walt as it is for making new memories.

For that true "Walk with Walt" moment, let's start with a stay at the iconic and original Disneyland Hotel and then toast to the master at Trader Sam's. What else would top your "Ears to you, Walt" kind of day?

☀️🏰Are you a "completer"? Meaning, do you like to feel like you DID IT ALL on vacation? If so, the Disneyland Resort is the destination for you. With only two theme parks and a smaller shopping district, five days at Disneyland is all you really need to feel like it's been DONE! Now, you may want to stay longer to try more dining experiences or soak up as much of Walt's park as you can, but you can truly feel fulfilled in under a week.

🍕🥗It is hands down one of the best dining bargains on Walt Disney World Resort property is to share a large pizza and salad meal at Via Napoli. You would never guess that this woodfired pizza paradise in EPCOT's Italy pavilion would be so BUDGET FRIENDLY without compromising taste. It's GOOD!

🍝 Of course, Via Napoli also offers a full menu of mouthwatering Italian dishes and desserts, but the value is in the Pizze Speciali! Have YOU tried Via Napoli or is it on your must-get reservation list? Let's hear all about it!

🥤🥤🥤Three cheers for refillable mugs! Something I absolutely love about Universal Orlando Resort is that they offer refillable mugs in their parks! It is a great money saver, a fun souvenir AND such an easy way to stay hydrated! PRO Tip: As long as your cups RFID chip is still good, you can bring your cup back from previous trips to use, just pay to reactivate and get to chugging!

🤔Who doesn't love options? At Universal Orlando Resort, you can grab a refillable mug that fits your vacay needs! Are you planning on going heavy on the resort days (and why not-the pools are awesome) then grab a resort refillable mug to use while you lounge by the lazy river. Are you park hopping till you drop? Then grab a refillable mug to use at the parks. The two can't be used interchangeably, but boy didn't they think of everything!

☀️🍉You know what's more refreshing than watermelon on a hot summer day? Watermelon on a hot summer day at Nomad Lounge. A stop at this Animal Kingdom hidden gem is something you'll definitely want to add to your itinerary. Don't let the word "lounge" fool you. It's kid friendly, has a fantastic small bites menu and offers both alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments...many garnished with watermelon! Try either version of Jenn's Tattoo if you're a fan of the unofficial fruit of summer.

If Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin or Toy Story Mania are on the top of your Walt Disney World attraction list, you'll really enjoy Men In Black Alien Attack at Universal Studios. What's unique about this ride over the others, is that you also shoot at a competing vehicle in addition to the alien targets. While it helps enhance your experience if you have seen at least the first MIB movie since the attraction queue is set up like headquarters, it's not necessary to have fun!

The competitive side will come out in everyone trying to reach the high score at least it does in my family! But we can all agree, whether we like this dark ride or not, that it's refreshing to not look at the screen projection or need 3D glasses like so many other Universal attractions. Am I right?

Weird Disney observation...Ever notice at the very top of the Everest Mountain, where you're stopped and contemplating life, how many hair bands are hanging out there? Tell us the truth, have you ever been a contributor?

Expedition Everest is hands down (or hands up-you decide) one of the best coasters EVER. The ride is exciting, the story telling is engaging and the sights going up the incline are breathtaking. Where do you stand on the legend of the Yeti? True or False?

Who has been lucky enough to enjoy an "out of this world" cocktail (or mocktail) at either The Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser's Sublight Loung, the Disney Wish's Hyperspace Lounge or at Oga's Cantina? Did the drink live up to the hype? What did you have?

You don't have to be a Star Wars fan to enjoy a galactic cocktail at any of these lounges. What would you want to try a Hoth Ice Breaker at the Sublight Lounge, or how about a mocktail a Cloud City at the Hyperspace Lounge? What looks good to you?

Did you know you can get more than just Mickey waffles at a Walt Disney World resort? There are waffles with Simba, Stitch and even the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser has its own waffle.

Me and my family have to have a Mickey waffle anytime we are in Disney otherwise our breakfast is not complete!

Disney Cruise Line has something for everyone no matter what age they are! If you have a teenager just like I do you don't have to worry about there not being anything for them to do on the ship. For teens ages 14-17, Vibe is a place to call their own onboard Disney Cruise Line ships. It offers endless streaming of movies, music, game pods, a sundeck, lounge areas, scheduled activities, fun counselors and even smoothie bars, there is something for just about every teen!

Disney Cruises are all about family time and solo time, where parents and kids get to enjoy whatever brings them joy. While the kids are shooting hoops or enjoying the pool, you can go off and enjoy reading a book nearby or go to a champagne tasting or play Bingo. The things you can do on a Disney Cruise are endless.

Toontown has been officially reopened at Disneyland for a little over a month. In case you haven't heard or seen the new look and features here is what you will see:

-Centoonial Park
-Chip & Dale's Gadget Coaster
-Goofy's How-to-Play Yard
-Donald's Duck Pond
-Cafe Daisy
-Good Boy! Grocers

Guests will also be able to visit both Mickey and Minnie's houses (maybe even meet them) and enjoy Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin. And the biggest feature in my opinion is the opening of Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway!
