Let’s take a look at what is happening at Magic Kingdom in 2025 - In no particular order 🏰:

- Disney Starlight, Dream The Night Away: A nighttime parade finally returns to Magic Kingdom. The brand new parade will begin sometime in Summer 2025 🌟

- Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island to close permanently: While we don't have a confirmed exact date as of yet, but it is expected in the first half of the year. Some permit issues may delay that, but the transformation into a "Cars"-themed land is expected to begin in 2025 ⛴️ 🚙

- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad refurbishment: Closing January 6 and not reopening until sometime in 2026 for a refurbishment involving some "new magic” 🚂

- Pirates of the Caribbean Tavern: The new tavern is making its debut in Adventureland at some point in late 2025 🏴‍☠️

- McKim's Mile House DVC Lounge opening: This brand new DVC Lounge is taking the place of the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade and is set to open in Summer 2025 😌

- Hall of Presidents refurbishment: Closing for refurbishment on January 20 with a reopening date sometime in Summer or Fall 🇺🇸

- Astor Orbiter refurbishment: The Tomorrowland attraction will be closed beginning on January 13, 2025, and is expected to reopen in Summer 2025 🚀

And of course let's not forget the beginning of construction for Villains Land! 🦹‍♂️🧙‍♀️

Things happening at Disney's Animal Kingdom in 2025 - In no particular order 🌳:

- DinoLand U.S.A. Phase One Closure begins: On January 13, 2025, half of the land will permanently close to make way for construction to begin on the Tropical Americas land. Closing for good will be TriceraTop pin, Chester & Hester's Dinosaur Treasures Gift Shop, and Fossil Fun Games. 🚧

DINOSAUR has been confirmed to remain open through 2025. 🦖

- "It's Tough To Be A Bug" will be closing permanently at some point in 2025 to make way for the new "Zootopia" show. An exact closure date has not yet been announced. 🐞 🐛

- Zootopia: Better Zoogether!: This brand new show will replace "It's Tough To Be A Bug" and open in late 2025. 🐰 🦊

Things happening at EPCOT in 2025 - In no particular order 🌐:

- Test Track 3.0: In summer of 2024, Test Track closed for a major refurbishment that is going to combine the past and the future. Not only will this new version be different, but it will also include tributes to the iconic World of Motion which it replaced. It is set to open in Summer 2025. 🚙

- Spaceship Earth Lounge opening: This new lounge will open in the old corporate space behind Spaceship Earth and offer great views of World Celebration Gardens and more. It will open in late Spring 2025. 🚀 🌎

- Gran Fiesta Tour refurbishment: The beloved attraction in the Mexico pavilion closes on January 6 and is not expected to reopen until March 15, 2025. 🇲🇽

- 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts: This amazing festival returns on January 17 and runs through February 24, 2025. ✍️ 🖼️

- 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival: Beginning on March 5, the spring will be in bloom through June 2, 2025. 🌺

- The Food & Wine Festival and Festival of the Holidays will return, but exact dates aren't yet known. 🥘 🍷 🎄

Things happening at Disney's Hollywood Studios in 2025 - In no particular order 🎥:

- Disney Villains Unfairly Ever After stage show: The baddies of the Disney Kingdom are all coming together for a new stage show at the Sunset Showcase and will open in Summer 2025. 😈

- MuppetVision 3*D closure (?): This iconic attraction is expected to close at some point in 2025 to make way for construction to begin on Monsters Inc. land. That would mean that the rest of Muppets Courtyard will close as well. We don't have a confirmed closure date as of yet, but it likely won't make it another year. 🎥

- Monstropolis / Monsters Inc. Land construction to begin: Walt Disney World has confirmed that work will begin on the new land in 2025, but we don't which part just yet. 🚪 👹

- "The Little Mermaid - A Musical Adventure": This brand new stage show will open up in the theater in Animation Courtyard and is set to debut in Summer 2025. 🧜🏻‍♀️

Late Night Disney Thoughts - Pandora at night is one of the most gorgeous and underutilized aspects of Walt Disney World 🌳

Before too long, the late holiday hours for Disney’s Animal Kingdom will disappear and we will miss out on the beauty of Pandora: The World of AVATAR at night 💦

This honestly needs to happen all the time and we just miss it when the park closes early 🌙 💡

Don’t forget, partners - Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Magic Kingdom will close for an extended refurbishment - of at least a year - on January 6, 2025 🚂

The last day to ride “the wildest ride in the wilderness” before it closes…is scheduled to be January 5, 2025.

As of this time, the attraction is scheduled to reopen at some point in 2026 with “a little bit of new magic.” 🚧
