If you didn't know my husband is from Peoria... making him a Bradley Brave Fan. I myself went to Illinois State University...making me an ISU Redbird fan!

Last year for Brad's 40th the 2 teams were playing on a weekend for the first time since our kids were born...so we had to go...the Braves barely beat the Redbirds. Let's hope for a better outcome for the Redbirds this year!

🐻🦊🐰💦 Change is hard, especially when it comes to saying goodbye to a classic like Splash Mountain. One year ago this ride closed down for the transformation! Let me tell you, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure 🌿👑 has been beautifully reimagined and still has the thrilling drops ⬇️, twists 🔄, splashes, and log flume you loved—oh yeah, you’re still GOING DOWN! Only this time, it’s down the bayou. 🎶

🎷🎵And if you liked the movie, especially the music, you’re going to love this update! 🎉

As far as the “story,” it’s a sweet one that celebrates community, resilience, and happiness 😄. Add to that glowing fireflies ✨🐞, amazing animatronics, and a fantastic soundtrack, and you may just have a new family favorite! ❤️🏰

🫤If you’re still feeling a pang of sadness over losing the beloved pals of the Briar Patch, eat your feelings with a batch of sugar dusted beignets and go take a ride down the bayou the next chance you get. You may just be pleasantly surprised! TIP: Look for subtle nods to Splash Mountain in the standby queue and inside Critter Co-Op. 🛍️

Yesterday I got some amazing news! In 2024, I was the 2nd top selling agent for Disney Destinations out of 77 hardworking agents! My love of all things Disney is what brought me to become an agent, and I am so glad I have been able to help so many clients make magical memories last year!

Almost nine years into being a travel agent, I have slowly become certified in other vacations to better serve my clients with trips including several cruise lines, Universal destinations, All Inclusive trips and even Europe vacations. But Disney destinations are still the number one vacation I book (and my favorite)! Nothing better than Disney Cruises, Disneyland, Disney World and the beautiful resort of Aulani to name a few. 🚀 Fifty years ago, Space Mountain launched guests into the cosmos for the very first time, and it’s still one of the most popular attractions at Walt Disney World. ✨

Despite all the shiny new additions like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON Lightcycle / Run, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, this classic continues to draw crowds and long wait times. It’s had a couple of refreshes over the years, but nothing monumental.

So here’s the big question:
Does Space Mountain need a change?

🤔 Should it get a major refurb to bring it up to today’s standards?
❓ Is it time to retire this beloved classic and make way for something brand new?
💫 Or do we leave it exactly as it is—a nostalgic staple of Tomorrowland?

I'm not sure I am going to be able to convince my kids that a non-Oasis class ship is for them... one of the things they still talk about is Oceanaria! It was a show at the AquaTheater – only on Oasis class ships. It has the deepest pool at sea, flanked by two 30-foot diving platforms that set the scene for mesmerizing dive spectaculars. You can even watch the warmups if you get there early, which was just as thrilling to the kids. If sailing on an Oasis class ship, make sure to reserve this show! One of the things I love about traveling right after Christmas, is it extends the holiday season a bit. Around Orlando, Christmas music was still playing and everything is still decorated. If you are big into the Christmas season and the nativity story, a must see is A Wondrous Night at Sea World! The musical show kept my kids engaged, involved incredible singing, dancing, puppetry and even live animals!
