In the winter, the cabin is magical and peaceful if you want to curl up with a book and cup of tea, enjoy cooking with friends, or want to explore the lake, the snow, the pathways in between the trees.. We are close to the Bear Center and Wolf Center, Ely and Tower, Giants Ridge for skiing, Burntside Lodge for a romantic dinner, and many other things. McKinley Park is at the end of the road. Truthfully, however, when we are here, we like to just be here. We find little reason to leave this beautiful slice of heaven. We also rent the cabin all year round and have received wonderful feedback from our renters.
