It's Halfway to Halloween! It’s never too early to start planning for Halloween! Here are a few ways that you can join the celebration with Disney this season:

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party at Magic Kingdon in Walt Disney World. Aug 9 - Oct31 on select nights. Tickets go on sale for guests staying at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green on May 8. For all other guests, tickets will go on sale May 15.

There will be new costumes for Mickey and Minnie, More villains, A DescenDANCE party, Meet Bruno from Encanto, Mickey's Boo-to-You parade at an earlier time, and of course Trick or Treating!

It's National Pizza day!

Where is your favorite spot to grab a pizza slice or pie in the Disney Parks? Mine is Via Napoli in Epcot! disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/epcot/via-napoli/ An excerpt from the Disney Park website:

Authentic Neapolitan Pizza
Enjoy traditional Neapolitan pizza delivered right to your table, from cheesy quattro formaggi to sausage-topped piccante.

The thin-crust pizzas are made with fresh mozzarella cheese, San Marzano tomatoes and real Caputo flour imported from Southern Italy. Water for the dough is even sourced from a spring similar to Italy's Campania region. Pizzas are then cooked in wood-burning ovens named after the 3 active volcanoes in Italy—Mount Etna, Mount Vesuvius and Stromboli.

To ensure every detail is perfect, famed restaurateur Nick Valenti spent time in Naples studying the art of dough, crust, sauce and oven temperatures at the famous pizzerias Da Michele and Trianon before creating the menu at Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria.

It's Disney’s California Adventure Park 23rd anniversary!

Disney California Adventure (DCA) is a theme park located in Anaheim, California, adjacent to Disneyland. Here are some facts about Disney California Adventure:

- Opening Date: Disney California Adventure opened its gates on February 8, 2001. It was designed to complement Disneyland and provide a different experience for visitors.

- Grizzly Peak: One of the park's iconic landmarks is Grizzly Peak, a mountain resembling California's Sierra Nevada mountain range. It houses Grizzly River Run, a whitewater rafting adventure.

- Cars Land: Inspired by the Disney-Pixar film "Cars," this area of the park recreates the town of Radiator Springs. Radiator Springs Racers, an attraction within Cars Land, takes guests on a high-speed race through the scenic landscape.

- Pixar Pier: Originally known as Paradise Pier, it was rethemed and renamed Pixar Pier in 2018. The area features attractions and entertainment based on Pixar films, including the Incredicoaster and Toy Story Midway Mania.

- Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!: Formerly the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, this ride was reimagined in 2017 to incorporate characters from the "Guardians of the Galaxy" film series. It is a thrilling drop-tower attraction.

- World of Color - ONE: This nighttime spectacular combines water, light, and music to create a mesmerizing show on the waters of Paradise Bay. The fountains are synchronized with Disney music and scenes from various films.

- Buena Vista Street: Modeled after Los Angeles as it appeared when Walt Disney arrived in California in the 1920s, Buena Vista Street is the park's main entry area. It includes shops, dining, and the iconic Carthay Circle Theatre.

- Festivals and Events: Disney California Adventure hosts various seasonal events and festivals, such as the Lunar New Year, and the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. These events offer special entertainment, food, and themed experiences.
