Sanding Ovations Sanding Ovations is a team of Professional World Champion sand sculptors that travel the world creat the weekend before Thanksgiving.

Sanding Ovations has over 40 years of combined experience in sand sculpting. The company is owned and operated by Treasure Island, Florida residents Dan Doubleday and Meredith Corson. Sanding Ovations has sculpted commissioned pieces for clients such as the NFL Super Bowl, NCAA Final Four, the Outback Bowl, Budweiser, Pepsi, Coca Cola, Frito Lay, SeaWorld, Disney World and Busch Gardens just to n

ame a few. Together they travel the world creating sand sculptures for hundreds of clients each year. Between the two, they hold 15 World Champion medals and have won or placed in every major competition they have entered. Their sculptures are emotional, thought provoking and often striking in their simplicity or at the other end of the spectrum, incredibly detailed. They organize the annual Sanding Ovations Masters Cup Competition which is held in Treasure Island, Fl. They also organize the annual Revere Beach National Competition which is held in Revere Beach, MA every July.

Today is our 24th anniversary. We have been self quarantined for 2 weeks. Our daughter and son in law work in hospitals. We created a sand sculpture in our driveway to thank all the health care workers and to celebrate our love. “We Have Each Other” has a so much bigger meaning.

The sculptors for this years 6th Annual Sanding Ovations Master Sand Sculpting Competition in Treasure Island, Florida have officially been released! The event runs November 19th-23rd, so start planning your vacation now! This years sculptors are as follows:
