Important Travel Update for UK Visitors
Starting January 8, 2025, all travelers to the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland) must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before arrival. This requirement applies to everyone, including infants and children.
What you need to know:
• One-time Application: The ETA is valid for two years and allows for multiple entries.
• Easy Application Process: You can apply online, and the fee is only USD 12.50 (or 10 GBP).
Don't forget to secure your ETA before your trip to avoid any travel disruptions.

Portmeirion Village

Portmeirion Village is a tourist village in Gwynedd, North Wales about two miles from the town of Porthmadog. I love this place as it's a folly in that many of the structures are not complete buildings, but creative fronts. Designed and built by Sir Clough Williams-Ellis between 1925-1975 in a Baroque style.

While it served as a location for numerous films and television shows, it is now a holiday break and tourist destination for many. The property has several hotels, 13 cottages and 32 lovely rooms in the village. I especially love the woodland walks and cafes.
