Just finished my first cruise on beautiful Crystal Cruises. We sailed from New York City to Quebec, on the Crystal Serenity. Our first stop was Newport, Rhode Island where we tendered ashore. My friend and I decided to do the Breakers and Mansions tour. It was amazing. Next stop was Boston where we did a historical tavern tour. So much fun! Learned about the history of the Banker Hill area and had a drink and munchies at the historic Warren Tavern before going back to the city to an Irish Pub. ☘️

Next stop Halifax! Beautiful botanical gardens amid so much history. Always wanted to see Nova Scotia and must go back. Sydney, Cape Breton Island, also part of NS, was next and we saw a reenactment of a typical village from when eastern Canada was first settled.

Next was the St Lawrence River for the beautiful fall colors and then gorgeous Quebec. Here are some pics of our beautiful Sapphire suite and the Crystal Serenity

Today is the 36th anniversary of the opening of MVP Travel. To say it’s been a roller coaster is an understatement of epic proportions! But we’ve survived. Through recessions and a worldwide pandemic that shut down all travel, from an Icelandic volcano that shut down travel to Europe, to 9/11 and the way our world changed forever. I’ve tried to be here for you and to guide you to the best of my abilities through all of this and more. I don’t have all the answers but I promise I will do my best to find them out. The pundits have been predicting the demise of travel agents forever, but I still think there’s a place for us.
