Today is the 36th anniversary of the opening of MVP Travel. To say it’s been a roller coaster is an understatement of epic proportions! But we’ve survived. Through recessions and a worldwide pandemic that shut down all travel, from an Icelandic volcano that shut down travel to Europe, to 9/11 and the way our world changed forever. I’ve tried to be here for you and to guide you to the best of my abilities through all of this and more. I don’t have all the answers but I promise I will do my best to find them out. The pundits have been predicting the demise of travel agents forever, but I still think there’s a place for us. Founded in 1856, de Halve Maan Brewery has been in the same family for 5 generations. In 2016 they completed a 2 mile long tunnel to deliver beer from the brewery to the bottling plant to avoid the narrow cobblestone streets of Bruges. The tunnel was partially crowd sourced and those who helped fund it received free beer!
