Have you visited Twentynine Palms yet? 🌴 🌴 Just past the town of Joshua Tree and home to the north entrance (less busy entrance) to the park, is our cute town. With new stores, restaurants, and events be sure to make your way downtown and check things out. Casa 29 is only 5 min from both downtown and the park entrance, making it the perfect spot to stay and play.

We 💚 dogs! Tanya and I both have them. But the reason we chose not to allow them at Casa 29 is because the Park doesn’t allow dogs on the trails. If your goal is to hike and explore Joshua Tree, your dog won’t get to do that with you and can’t be left alone at a house they are unfamiliar with. Additionally there are so many plants and wildlife in the desert that most dogs would not know to stay away from and could get seriously injured. While we love bringing our dogs on vacation with us, we feel the desert isn’t the most dog friendly place (especially for our city dogs).

Our project manager Emma in the picture came to the desert with us a couple of times for day trips while we were working on the house, but our dogs are not allowed now that we’ve opened the home up to guests.
