First of MANY reveals at The Navy on Spring✨

This week we are wrapping up our project and looking back on where we started, which is pretty crazy. Blake and I are so proud of this project and honored to share this success with our contractor 💙

This adorable arched nook was previously a hallway to another entrance into the home. We knew right away we wanted to make this into an accent nook which made the primary suite very private. Thank you for the Tyler Texas Toile 😍 this unique wallpaper is featured not only in this area but also in our bathroom! Stay tuned for more reveals coming soon 🤩

It’s no wonder she’s a “Brick Street Beauty”!

Both of our properties sit on the same historic brick streets of downtown Tyler. These brick streets were installed between 1912 and 1947. Tyler Texas is home to almost 14 miles of brick streets and give this city so much charm!

These hand laid brick streets were installed because downtown vendors complained their goods were getting dirty from all the dust kicked up from the dirt. The installation promoted downtown growth - and still do! Next time you stay at The Tyler Tudor, check out our Tyler history book, located in the primary bedroom, to see historic pictures of what downtown used to look like.

These brick streets are iconic and make our properties even more special. You have to see this craftsmanship in person.
