Snow coming down up on the project where our 2 inspectors Clyde & Jason are working . I wonder what month this year before all the snow melts?

Snow showers making it down to 5200 feet this morning. While road temperatures are warm enough to keep snow from accumulating much, if at all, still be prepared for wintry conditions if traveling through the mountains or doing any outdoor recreation in the higher elevations this weekend.

We have 2 inspectors up on the projects at Crater Lake. Looks like a slow start for them :)

This is the North Junction on West Rim Drive as of Wednesday, June 7. We are still about seven days from the north entrance with 5-10 inches of new snow predicted by Sunday night. We are working as fast as we can (seven days a week) to get the west side clear so that we can open for visitors. We appreciate your patience!

No construction happening on projects in the high country right now!

This latest storm has dropped 67 inches of snow on us since Friday night. We now have a 80 inch base at 5200 feet. Rising snow levels tonight will help settle this snow some. Should be incredible riding this weekend! The picture is taken from the back of the house. That little bump in the snow next to the tool shedd is a 10 foot tall pole.
