Big cheers are in order for Kris Hoff, the owner of Happy Times Tours in Milwaukee and Distinctively Detroit Tours in Detroit, Michigan! At the recent American Bus Association Convention, she was honored with the prestigious 2025 TODAY! Award!

This award, presented by Groups Today Magazine, isn’t just a shiny trophy on a shelf; it’s a heartfelt recognition of Kris’ remarkable impact in the group travel industry. Each year, this honor goes to an ABA member who is truly shaking things up with their dedication to relevance, growth, advocacy, and innovation—and let’s be real, Kris is nailing it!

When she received the news in January that her peers had nominated her, Kris was over the moon. “I am beyond honored to receive this award. To have your peers nominate you for an award like this means the world to me,” she expressed.

Kris has a genuine passion for crafting unique travel experiences that go beyond the usual tourist stops. “It’s all about making travel memorable, whether it’s with Happy Times Tours in Wisconsin or Distinctively Detroit Tours in Detroit,” she said. In the times we are facing with COVID, we have taken precautionary steps so we can have Happy Times on our Safecations! Our buses will not be full – that is a guarantee and, we have planned it that way. We want everyone to be able to distance themselves on the coach.
