Did you know you could visit & stay in the actual Lizzie Borden house in Massachusetts?
✨✨✨
There is a little gift shop behind the house that includes items found in the house and of course novelty items like a board game as well.
✨✨✨
You can stay the night inside the actual house which is a working bed & breakfast. Or you can take a day tour with one of their knowledgeable tour guides. You even get a chance to see the famous basement where the axe was found.

2024 Chapter 2; Love & Relaxation. Started February in the warmth of Florida, ended in the stupid cold with a stupid cold. The month was boring but I did plenty of relaxing. Watched the Super Bowl, enjoyed a steak dinner for Valentine’s Day with a gift of Taylor Swift on vinyl from my hubs, snuggled and spied on my dog. Book of the month, cold themed like this lame state. I am so ready for the fun of March, birthday adventures here I come.

A celebratory last-minute trip to Maine for the weekend. I officially have a surgery date, and my journey is moving forward with some big steps! So we hit the road for a little nature and change of scenery. Acadia National Park is stunning and we cannot wait to return again. Next time be at the summit for sunrise. Troy had a blast climbing the rocks at all our stops.

Earlier this year I was diagnosed with Graves Disease. Since my diagnosis my symptoms have really amplified while I await more testing and a finalized treatment plan. That means my lifestyle has become much more Netflix & air conditioning and no fun travel or Disney 😫😩 But I still need fresh air, sunshine & a little adventure. So this year will be Roadtrip Summer. Mostly me sitting in the car & looking at things things or sitting in a location. The lowest of low impact activities. We started this weekend with Newport, Rhode Island. Brenton Point State Park is beautiful and ocean side, plus it is known to be haunted! I forgot my sunglasses 🤦🏼‍♀️On our way out we stopped and tried Wally’s Wieners, which were sooo good. Last stop was to see the grave of the Rhode Island vampire, Mercy Brown. That place had the most off energy. I did not like the feeling at all. My husband & I both left a penny for Mercy on her grave. I can’t wait for more roadtrips this summer to feel a little like myself.
