This cone head loves fall!

Went to the newly opened suspension bridge at boyne mountain.

It is the World's Longest Timberwood Suspension Bridge.

While walking across the bridge you can feel and even see the bridge swaying, constantly adjusting to the weight distribution.

In the very center of the bridge their is a small section of glass that was extremly slippery.

With a spiked hot chocolate in one hand and the rail in the other there I made my way across.

The bridge is open year round but I highly recommend going to see the bridge before all of the fall colors are gone!

All jokes aside, coming from a state where you are never more than 6 miles away from one of our 11,000+ lakes (Michigan), I am a foreigner to the reality of forest fires.

Here is what I learned.

While I was in Yosemite, the Washburn Fire set ablaze threatening the sequoia’s of Mariposa Grove in Yosemite National Park. Some of these sequoias are 3,000 years old! Since the fire broke out, 50% has thankfully been contained and no sequoias were damaged. From my understanding, the dwindling of this fire is largely due to the fire-hazard reduction tool of prescribed burns used by forest ecologists since the 1970s. These controlled fires reduce the devastation of the fire by removing potential fuel for the fire.

While forest ecologist can prescribe these burns to control for natural fire fuel they can't control the factor of human error. This fire was investigated and announced as human caused.

Please go see the beautiful giant sequoias but take this as a reminder to respect the fire danger level signs in order to protect these majestic giants.

What mindset are you?

Something a lot of people don't know about me is, I currently have five jobs. Is that even possible? Yes, I can assure you it is! From my full-time night job to my part-time jobs to my self-employed businesses, it is possible. It is definitely not ideal for the long term, but it is life as I currently know it.

What keeps me motivated? The goal of one day living a life of residual income. Where do I start? By working harder each day to achieve my goals. For me that means, fighting the urge to binge-watch Friends, going to the gym at 2am on my nights off, and working on my businesses on my breaks and in my free time. Most importantly, for me that means, silencing my inner voice of doubt who questions if my goals are even realistic.

Thanks to my mentors, I am able to refocus and regain sight of what life can be if I keep on track and stay motivated.

As a mentor, I hope to provide my team with that same driven energy my mentors have handed down to me.

Remember to... Move mountains when mountains don't want to be moved. 🌄

I was researching cruises one day for a client and...

I ended up booking a cruise for not only my client but also for myself because the discounted price I received as a travel agent was too good to pass up!

Hello everyone!

I thought I would share some pictures and stories of my international medical aid experience.

In May 2021, I interned five days a week for a month in a local public hospital in Mombasa, Kenya.

The experience I gained while shadowing the local medical officers is unforgettable! My absolute favorite memory of all, I delivered TWINS!!

During the weekends, we would hold free health clinics for communities in need. We would perform biometric screenings and share the results with on-site medical officers who would refer them to a hospital or prescribe medication which we would hand out for free that day. We would also go to local schools to speak to the children about the importance of hygiene and other health-related topics.

When people say experiences like these are life-changing, they mean it! There is no other way to describe it.

The friends I met there will always have a place in my heart!

I wish I would have known about this type of opportunity when I needed my continuing medical education credits!

Start out the new year with a new adventure!🌋🏜🏝🏞

My big adventure for 2022 is to go to Iceland and Norway! 🌋🏞

My favorite way to travel is to backapack, so I am already planning my route, flights, transportation, and housing.🚐

Besides going on the trip itself, my favorite part of the trip planning process is to create my route! It gets me extra excited and also leaves me dreaming about what I what to do and where I want to go for future adventures!
