This is a personal non travel related post but wanted to share why I have been absent this week.

This lady right here, was one of the best Nanas around.❤️🥰

I was so very blessed. I have so many childhood memories at my nanas house. She was made a Nana at a very young age, and said she was too young to be a grandmother (38 😳) , but she was exceptional at it.

My nana was selfless and always thought of others and a huge animal lover! Y’all I get it honestly!

Losing her youngest child last year broke her, but she rallied and held fast in her faith. I know Mike was the first person she ran to when she arrived in Heaven. I made sure to tell her to hug him for me too. 🥹

Nana played a large role in raising Nick and I, as we were there a lot. Nana and our Uncles were safe and free babysitters lol!!

She leaves behind her son Eric, daughter Lisa, her sister Janet, Daughter in law- Nora, 3 grandchildren myself, Nick, and Matthew, and one great grandson.

Nana was a force and she worked so hard for so long and took care of others always making sure their wants were put ahead of hers.

I will miss her calling me on Christmas day to sing Felize Navida! Or my birthday to sing happy birthday.

I am beyond thankful I was able to say goodbye and kiss her. After going such a long time with out seeing her until Nov of last year it was an honor to be able to say a last good bye. She went peacefully in hospice care, and for that i am thankful.

Prayers for her children would be appreciated as one was not able to be here and the other was a great care taker, so life will be very difficult and different going forward.

PS if my Nana knew I put a picture of her on FB she would for sure kick my b***y! 😬🫣
