Happy Birthday Animal Kingdom and happy Earth day! I know many choose to skip Animal Kingdom, but I love it! Did you know it is the largest park at Walt Disney World?
🐘I love the Safari. I love seeing all the animals and hearing some of the facts. Tip: This line gets long, so it is a great use of a Genie+ selection, or a good attraction to rope drop. This attraction doesn’t open for early entry, but the line will start to form before it actually opens.
🌳I love all the green space and little waterfalls you can find at Animal Kingdom. You can typically find a nice quiet area pretty easy here.
🎢Expedition Everest is the tallest point in all of Walt Disney World. Before the addition of Tron and Guardians of the Galaxy, it was also the most thrilling coaster. The wait time for this ride fluctuates dramatically! However, there are many times this ride has a short wait.
🔵Pandora feels like you are walking to another land. I love how the walkways glow if you ever get a chance to visit while it is dark. While many may love Flight of Passage, I cannot ride it because it makes me sick. Which means I don’t need to wait in that typically consistent long line.
🦜I love Winged Encounters! It is a very short show near the Tree of Life that will have a bunch of colorful Macaws flying right over your head.
🦍There are 2 different animal walking trails. I love taking a relaxed walk and seeing the different animals.
I also love going to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. You can learn how to draw a beloved Disney character, pet a few animals, and maybe even catch a glimpse of an animal procedure (this will happen for me one day!).

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire on the castle stage at Disney’s Magic Kingdom is adorable! I recently watched from the side and most of the action was framed beautifully within the arch!

Check out this resort view room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. The room is gorgeous and spacious with touches of Mary Poppins theming.
I loved the split bathroom allowing multiple people to get ready at once. Plus the double sinks and plenty of counter space made this a great room to share with fellow agents during my agency’s conference.
We watched the Magic Kingdom fireworks from just outside the building where our room was located while the music played at the resort.
Having access to the Monorail made this resort very convenient for getting to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, as well as, traveling to the other Monorail resorts for food or to walk around.

Check out this studio room at Copper Creek Villas and Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. It sleeps 4 with the pull out sofa bed.
Copper Creek is connected to Wilderness Lodge so you never have to leave the main building to get to your room. Even though this room was on the 2nd floor, it was on the same floor as the main lobby.
I love how easy this resort is to manage! Plus, you get boat access to Magic Kingdom along with boat access to Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Fort Wilderness Campground starting at 3pm each day. They have a cute water play area for kids and the quiet pool has a zero entry area making this a great place for families.
