Today’s topic: Passports🛂

I recently seen a post of someone explaining that their travel documents needed to be rechecked at their gate. No biggie, until she found out the rest of her family could board the plane and she couldn’t because her passport was going to expire in less than six months!😟

Passport renewal can take 8-11 weeks to get renewed. You can get it expedited, but that can still take 5-7 weeks, and costs an extra $60 on top of the $130 passport renewal fee!

Check your travel documents well in advanced so you are not stranded at the airport missing your dream vacation!

We’ve all been there before, missing our connecting flight or being stranded in an airport with no accommodations or compensation. A true disappointment to any vacation!

A simple solution to getting to your destination is booking the earliest flight possible! Early morning flights are the least likely to get delayed or cancelled as airport ‘work days’ are just beginning.

Not an early riser? Can’t make that 5am flight? When booking later flights, be sure to book flexible/refundable fares to receive the most out of your delay/cancellation! Might be a little more out of pocket, but completely worth it for a less stressful travel experience! 🌤
