We are renovating! Due to the water damage from the storm last week, we will be undergoing some extensive renovations for the next few months and will not be able to take any reservations until August (possibly September). Please continue to contact us for reservations as we expect to have things up and running buy August. The ranch books very quickly, so if you want a beautiful country escape when the weather starts cooling be sure to take care of your reservations now. We will keep you updated with the renovations- there are going to be some great changes- stay tuned. Thanks so much for your understanding!

We let the horses out to the front pastures yesterday afternoon to let their regular fields recover. Have you ever seen such happy horses??? Look at them enjoying the extra freedom in so much open space.

We had such a great Memorial Day weekend at Bear Creek Ranch. We took our horses out riding which is always such a fun treat. Spirit (our gray horse) doesn’t get risen often because he has an injured leg and is lame, but we took him walking in the arena and I think he was the happiest horse ever. Happy Memorial Day everyone 🇺🇸

A nice evening walk with the kids exploring some of the native plants here at the ranch. I have a neat app that identifies the different plants, which has been incredibly helpful as we learn our ranch. @ Kerrville, Texas

We have been watching these eggs for about a month, and today we were lucky and got to see them hatch. The mama bird made her nest in our utility vehicle 😆

The kids enjoyed spending Easter here. The weather is warming up, but the evenings here in Kerrville are fresh and crisp.

Meet our newest horse, Gardel! He is named after one of Juan’s horses from his childhood back in Colombia. This horse is the perfect addition to our growing “family”- he is calm natured and just so sweet!!

We have had such a wonderful week welcoming our newest animals to the ranch. Introducing Spirit (white horse) and Thunder (pinto horse). Having horses has taken the experience of owning a ranch to a whole new level of amazing!!!

This past Super Bowl weekend was one of our family’s best weekends at our ranch...we brought our llamas, Lucy and Ethan, home. These girls just love the freedom roaming the front pastures and creek! They are slowly getting accustomed to us as we approach them with llama treats and we can’t wait until they are comfortable for us to let them. @ Texas Hill Country
