Let’s talk about flights … ✈️

🛫While I don’t book air reservations for clients, I always include my flight recommendations in your itinerary proposal.

🛩I have flown on 21 different airlines. As you can see, I am not loyal to any one airline. I typically book my personal flights with the most convenient departure/arrival schedule in mind.

🤔If I had to choose, my favorite airlines for domestic travel would be American and JetBlue. My top picks for long-haul international travel would be Lufthansa, Emirates, and LATAM. And when it comes to smaller regional airlines, I’ve been impressed by Aer Lingus, AeroMexico, Aegean, and Croatia Airlines.

🤣Delta lovers, don’t at me … I’ve just never been all that impressed by their onboard experience.🤷‍♀️

For over 600 years, British kings and queens have stored royal crowns, robes, and other ceremonial regalia known as the “Crown Jewels” in a protected vault at the Tower of London. The Jewel House, which is open to the public, remains one of the most-visited tourist attractions in all of Britain.

Did you know there are 429 National Parks in the United States? More than 300 million people visit the parks each year, with the most popular being Zion, Yellowstone, Great Smoky Mountains, and the Grand Canyon. The least-visited park is Gates of the Arctic National Park, located in remote Alaska.

It’s been fun seeing the beautiful scenery and reading references to restaurants I dined at during my autumn visit a few years ago. It’s truly one of those destinations that is even more charming in person than what you imagine.

This week’s highlights a deluxe wine resort tucked away in the Tuscan countryside: Relais Villa Olmo in Impruneta, Italy.📍

Situated on the grounds of a 15th century hamlet, this postcard-worthy estate presents private villas and spacious suites along with Tuscan cooking classes, tastings in the onsite wine cellar, and guided tours of the surrounding Chianti vineyards.

ChangChill Elephant Sanctuary📍

There are six resident elephants living at the ChangChill Sanctuary in Chiang Mai, Thailand. In accordance with the WAP-World Animal Protection guidelines, the sanctuary does not allow guests to bathe or feed the elephants directly. Visiting guests learn about their diet and importance in Thai culture while walking through the jungle, and the elephants are free to roam as they wish.

I recommend this excursion for all the animal lovers out there. Ask me for more details when planning your Thailand itinerary.
