Thanks to everyone that sent text messages this morning to check on us, I travel across this bridge often, had an appointment this morning where I typically have to travel this route and cross over the Key bridge to get there. I left a little earlier because I knew I would have to go a different way.

With spring break and summer travel quickly approaching, I put together some tips I often share with my clients, especially those traveling internationally.
1. Planning well in advance can offer several advantages for your upcoming trip. This may include perks such as a higher number of rooms available, better pricing options, or the flexibility to make changes beforehand.
2. Packing lightly may help you save money and time on things such as high baggage fees and excessive lines at the airport. Make sure that you understand all baggage fees as well as your airline’s weight and measurement restrictions before you pack those extra pairs of shoes for your trip.
3. Work and school schedules often dictate the overall amount of family travel. However, traveling during off-peak seasons can provide a more relaxed, affordable, and immersive travel experience which can help families create even more lasting memories.
4. By proactively staying informed and taking the necessary precautions, you can navigate through the current travel landscape with greater ease and confidence. Maintain ongoing communications with your travel agent and don’t hesitate to ask for assistance if you are unsure about your travel needs. Never forget to check your flight status.

I get several inquiries a week asking if "Uplift" is a great way to pay for a vacation.
I just thought I'd share my opinion.....
While Uplift's buy now, pay later option can make travel more affordable, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons. Here's why you might want to think twice before relying solely on Uplift:
1. Cost Comparison: Uplift can still be more expensive than saving up or using a credit card. Consider the overall cost, including interest, before committing to this financing method
2. Firm Plans: If your travel plans aren't firm, a travel loan might not be the right choice. Unlike credit cards, which offer flexibility, Uplift requires commitment
3. APR Consideration: If you qualify for a low APR on a traditional loan or credit card, explore those options first. Uplift's simplicity comes at a price, and it's essential to compare rates
While Uplift can be a helpful tool, it's crucial to evaluate your individual circumstances and explore alternatives before booking your dream vacation.
Remember, I do offer payment plans on most vacations (i.e. Caribbean vacations, Disney Cruises, Carnival cruises & more). I highly recommend booking your vacations 6 to 18 months in advance.

I've gone to about 10 Beyonce' concerts and it's a different experience every single time. She's been doing this for 25 plus years, give this woman her flowers. She is one of the best to ever do it! Her tour is slowly coming to an end but if you have a granddaughter, daughter, niece, nephew, son, brother or sister that's a fan of @beyonce , take them to experience this legendary performance. One thing Beyoncé will always do is put on a great show. I know people who aren't even fans of her music, still went to a show, and they had the best time ever. Again, I am so grateful for being able to experience this tour with my daughter. I've really been thinking about snagging tickets to the Houston show too 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Guys, I'm not saying this because I've been a fan (and maybe because I've gone to almost every single one of her concerts 😅🥰🤪) , but seriously, it's worth every penny...from the dancers, the sounds, the drive, the details, her team, rhe chrome & silver, the visual effects, the overall energy in every stadium.......PRICELESS!
From the ground to the clouds, I've been embracing the thrill of being a beginner drone pilot! As a fresh face drone enthusiast, I'm honing my skills and embracing the challenges that comes with this hobby. Mommy/daughter date night in Washington D.C. Did I mention how much I enjoy spending time with my daughter, she is a forever mood! I don’t know if it’s because we’re both Capricorns, but she matches my energy, she's fun & she's easy going. Anyhow, we’ve been teaching London about self-confidence her whole life, and how beautifully and wonderfully made she is. First, as a child of God, but also as a little Black girl with unique curly hair and beautiful brown skin. This weekend we decided to check out the @themuseumforblackgirls and it was a pretty cool experience. First and foremost, I'd like to say, THANK YOU! Thank you for reminding queens & princesses like mine and all the other little girls around the world that, respectively, they are the ish'! The Museum for Black Girl is a self-guided pop-up photo studio and museum dedicated to black women. The different stations are decorated and curated by local black artists as well. When you step inside you feel invited, accepted and seen. As you move through the different exhibits, you'll get a little history, a little of the present and hopefully find a piece of yourself within the carefully colored and created moments of respect to beautiful Black Queens around the world. Now y'all know I'm an advocate for solo travel. Yes, a group trip may sound like a lot of fun, but having the courage and sense of adventure to go at it alone is such a freeing feeling. I never feel lonely and I never feel unsafe when I travel alone. You've gotta learn how to enjoy your own company. A few tips if you're thinking about exiting the group chat, and traveling alone because everyone always back out on the trips: * Believe in yourself * Stay safe * Embrace the experience * Don't over plan * Do your research * Pack light * Be aware of your surroundings * Join in on some group activities *And most importantly....be yourself, be vigilant and have fun with no regrets. Stop waiting on everybody else, they'll disappoint you every time.

What's the first thing you do in the morning when you're on vacation? Are you an early riser or do you like to sleep in?
I may not travel as much as I'd like to, but it's an addiction! If I could, I'd be gone every other week! But you know.....life happens, kids, school, extra curriculum activities, careers , fur babies and everything else that comes along with it. But the moment my husband says let's go, my carry on is packed within 20 minutes and I'm at the door ready to go. Lol When is the last time you've had an impromptu getaway? No planning, no itinerary, you just grabbed your ID/passport and left? Where did you go?
Ma, thanks for the heads up but the same things are happening right here in the states too! A few safety tips when traveling: 1. Do your research, get to know your destination and who to call in case there's an emergency 2. Keep your friends & family updated, send someone you trust a copy of your itinerary. 3. Make copies of important documents, email copies to yourself just in case you lose them. Even if you lose your phone you would still be able to access them if you can get to a computer. 4. Be wary of public wi-fi, there's weird ass computer hackers out there. Lol 5. Watch your surroundings. I know we all want to snap those perfect pictures but keep an eye on your personal belongings and the people around you. 6. Safeguard your hotel room/airbnb. Purchase a door jammer with an alarm. 7. Don't draw attention. You don't wanna look like a tourist when you travel. You don't need to travel with all your flashy clothes & jewelry. Traveling to new places is always exciting and an eye-opening experience for me, but I never get so caught up in the thrill that I forget about my safety & security.
