Steps from the beach, Ebb and Tide Oceanfront Inn is a great option for a family getaway in Seaside, Oregon. At least my family thinks so! When you book a trip with me as your travel advisor, I bring my own experience and use that to plan your families getaway with the care I would plan my own trip!

This spot is steps away from sand, pet friendly and most rooms come with an ocean view and many with a kitchen! I made delicious grilled cheese and tomato soup to help warm up are a cold walk on the beach! Plus a full breakfast and warm cookies are included in your stay with thoughtful extras like pool towels for the indoor pool and even biscuits for your dog! We will certainly be back here!!

First time for me staying at Animal Kingdom lodge at Disneyworld and I am so impressed. I started my day drinking coffee in the morning on my balcony overlooking the savanna and ended with these incredible desserts from Sanaa! They were playing baseball on the tv in the restaurant lounge and honestly I turned to my husband and asked why they are playing baseball in Africa? The resort is so immersive I totally forgot where I was! As much as I love the theme parks, I would be content staying at the resort all week!!

I got to tour Beaches Negril today and I can’t wait to book my family on a vacation here!

Not only are the they an autism certified resort, but more than 80 percent of all the staff are trained in working with neuro divergent kids and adults. Also all the staff that work with the kids in the kids clubs are also early childhood education certified. It was safe and clean and looked so much fun!

Everything from the pools to the washing feet stations to thoughtful designed rooms, were beautiful and designed to work for all kids of ages and fun!

I got up close and personal with Death Eaters during Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. They were conjuring the dark mark and checking people’s arms to see their alligence, and they also dueled visiting wizard wondering around Diagon Alley. While there was no doubt which wizard they pledge their allegiance to, they weren’t all bad. During the evening I witnessed a mother with an unusually wand and taking to a Death Eater. She was taking pictures of a Death Eater with the large wand, when I asked her what was happening she explained she had recently lost her daughter in a drunk driving accident and her daughter had made that wand. Shortly before her death, they had done a mother daughter trip to Universal. She had found special people there who helped her grieve and remember her daughter she called her “Universal Family”. It was a special moment to witness and I thanked her for sharing her story. She wanted to share about her daughter with as many as possible and was glad she was an organ donor who saved 4 others lives.

It is moments like this that I so appreciate the magic the team members create at Universal. Even in a night focused on dark things there was kindness and magical moments. It reminded me how grateful I am to have taken special trips with my own kids.

The time has come! I will be facing my fears and experiencing Universal’s Halloween Horror nights! Won’t lie, I am nervous, but also excited to experience this event! So much work and creativity goes into every theme and house. As long as I survive the scares, I will know the details to help you get the most out of your trip!

Just finishing my stay at the Drury hotel near Disney Springs! So many included extras for a great price! Shuttles to the parks, hot breakfast with Mickey waffles and an evening kick back with free alcoholic drinks and all kinds of food from baked potatoes to pasta and salad bar! Plus views from the pool and many rooms of the fireworks! This is truly an amazing value and without sacrificing any comfort and No resort fees!!! Plus includes early entry into the Disney parks too. Let me know if you want more info about this amazing hotel. You can book it as a package for a Disney trip or on its own.
