🚨 D23 Disneyland news 🚨
1) Disneyland will be celebrating its 70th Anniversary next year and we were given the logo for the celebration, but no other info.
2) Avatar was confirmed to be in Disney California Adventure park. We were told that the area would have a water based, boat attraction. The theming will be based off of Avatar 2 as well as the forthcoming Avatar 3 and 4. No dates or location in DCA was given.
3) A Coco themed ride was announced for Disney California Adventure park. Ground will break in 2026, but no location was given inside the park.
4) The first-ever Walt Disney Audio-Animatronic is coming to Disneyland. “Walt Disney — A Magical Life” will debut inside the Main Street Opera House in rotation with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.
5) Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was given an opening date of November 15th. It also seems like Critter Country will be renamed Bayou Country (not 100% certain on this)
6) Dave Filoni announced they’re working on a Mandalorian & Grogu ride story/version for Smugglers Run in Galaxy’s Edge.
7) The 3rd Avengers Campus attraction was given the name “Infinity Defense.” King Thanos will be in the attraction and guests will be in what appears to be a motion simulator of sorts. No specifics were given. The ride vehicle is on display at the convention center for the expo. Construction begins in 2025.
😎 A 4th attraction was announced for Avengers Campus in DCA called “Stark Flight Lab.” Robert Downey Jr will reprise his role as Tony Stark for the attraction.
